New Keypad

will it be available the new keypad for the "old" sub 37?
I think that a lot of users would be interested in changing the cheap keypad with the better one of the new sub 37.
May be that only the springs are different...
I hope in a MOOG positive answer :D :D

Greetings from Italy!!

Re: Sub 37, SN, owner, location list

One update to my synth: SBT 03673 After 10 months, the Filter Cutoff Pot issue has appeared. Many potentiometers are also wobbly and a strange metallic noise comes touching the mod wheel. Received from MidiWare Moog customer support perfected working! Filter pot and board changed. No issues now. Be...

Re: Made a tutorial for a Sub 37 electric guitar patch

Hi Amplitudeproblem,
thanks a lot for your job.
I followed your tutorial but the result on my sub is not equal to the yours. May be that something in not ok in my machine.
Could you link the syx patch in order for me to verify my sub?
Thanks a lot again

Re: Mod 2 led issue

^ Thanks! It looks like we have uncovered 3 issues then: - Mod 2 LED hanging on for 2 secs after key release when pressure is the source. - Mod 2 LED going dark on playing the C closest to the sequencer step 16 button when keyboard tracking is the source. - Mod 1 not working when keyboard tracking ...

Mod 2 led issue

Hi, I have a strange issue about the Mod2 on my sub37. Setting for instance the system like this: Mod 2 source: F.EG/PGM MOD 2 dest: EG Time/PGM PGM SRC: PRESSURE PGM DST: OSC 1 LEVEL the LFO 2 RATE led light is proportional to the keypad pressure as expected. the problem is that when you release th...

Re: Sub 37 Filter Cutoff: First Batch vs. Revised Batch

Looking at this viedeo about Voyager it seems that smd pot are used too for the filter.

I'm wondering why the Voyager is not affected by the problem!

Re: Sub 37 Filter Cutoff: First Batch vs. Revised Batch

Do you see the little skull-like traces on the pictures? These are the traces of all the other smt pots. One does not simply replace a smt pot by a full size one without punching a hole through the pcb, or more fittingly, by redesigning the entire pcb board to acomodate for the new heavy pot. new b...

Re: Sub 37 Filter Cutoff: First Batch vs. Revised Batch

I'm willing to pay a fair price for the board if that's what it takes to resolve this problem. I just want a solid unit worth the money I invested in it. I can see this pot crapping out on me very soon, it doesn't look/feel too healthy. Please Moog, will you please help this Sub 37. P.s. I'm not su...

Re: Sub 37 Gap in case

I don't agree at all. I don't see these gaps as details nor has it anything to do cause it's a small company. There are many small company's (like Vermona or even Nord, for example) that make excellent robust stuff. Whats wrong with a final check before a product leaves the factory. Moog products ar...

Since the start of this thread I have examined every key. They are all perfectly even and spaced. I got a lucky run I suppose.
My keybed is fine too and the key action is not so bad in my opinion.

HI iscariah,
fifteen days ago you changed the sub 37 with a Prophet 12 and now with a Prophet 2.
You are full of resources!
Or may be that you had two sub 37 with the problem and changed both :?:

Re: Sub 37 - Cutoff wigging out around 320Hz

As a Moog client I'd like to know the truth about this story! What is the problem? A set of defective potentiometers? A circuit which forces the cutoff potentiometer to work incorrectly? Why this problem doesn't appear on the sub-phatty or little phatty too? Is there the possibility that in the futu...

Hi Petur, please, do contribute to the "SN, OWNER Sub37" thread, in order to collect the maximum of info about sub 37 issues. It'd be very interesting to know your serial number and manufacturing date....
