Re: Sub 37 Sound to Minitaur
I think the Arturia KeyStep is a pretty interesting unit. You get keys with aftertouch, pitch and mod controls, an arpeggiator and a sequencer. Since neither the Sub Phatty nor the Minitaur come with an arp or sequencer (and the Minitaur doesn't have a keyboard), that looks like a good investment. ...

Re: Stand recommendations for Sub 37
I'm looking for a tilted keyboard stand like the one in his video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VxX5Mj9Fc8A&t=1646s Good look at 6:52 and many other times. That looks like a second tier on a "X" stand but just used from the other side, so the keyboard tilts away from her instead o...

Re: Stand recommendations for Sub 37
How do you play the synth live? Or is the stand for studio use? I use an X stand on the highest setting when I only have my S37 for a gig and stand. If I am playing my Nord Stage at the same time, I put it on the same X stand with a second tier that holds it pretty well. At home I built some shelves...

Re: Bounce SUB37 in Logic
MIDI files contain no audio to bounce. Are you recording the audio from the S37 too, or using it as a MIDI controller and using a soft synth in Logic?

Re: I hear input minitaur but not output
It sounds like you have a midi loop issue. In the Minitaur Editor, I would change your output channel to something else. I take it you're using USB for MIDI and not the physical MIDI input?

Re: Can I set my LFO rate to 0 (flatline)?
Whoops, I was thinking this was a Sub 37. That's what you do on a Sub 37 anyways.
But in the case that my browser brought me to the Phatty forum instead of the Sub forum - I completely agree with Stiiiiiive (enough i's?) and would use an envelope.

Re: Can I set my LFO rate to 0 (flatline)?
You can also hit the Controllers button and select Constant on for the source, and 100% for the Mod Wheel. Then you push the mod wheel all the way up, and dial in the pitch to 1 octave. Conversely, you can also mess around with it so the mod wheel isn't at 100% and it gives you more control at the P...

Re: Please make the sub37 beat freq go higher!! :/
I think the beat freq knob is just a fine offset for OSC2. The frequency knob to it's left is much more coarse. The beat detunes the OSC 2 at varying rates to keep the same beat when traveling up or down the keyboard. You can hear this by setting the beat frequency up, and turning off OSC 1 and hea...

Re: Moog Sub 37 VCA Modulation
So if I'm not mistaken, you want the volume to start at lets say 10, and go to 0, correct? And double checking that you have the LFO wave to the reverse ramp wave (one click right of the square wave)? And you want the whole synth to start loud and get quiet without affecting your envelopes for your ...

Re: Pitch rises upon note strike
Could you use the lfo set to a ramp wave, and turn the pitch knob of whichever lfo used turned to the left? You could also use keyboard reset so every key you press triggers the lfo as well.

Re: Beatstep pro + Sub 37
I will be building a box using a zener diode regulator, so 0 to +5 Volts will pass, but anything beyond +5 won't. This will allow octaves to stay the same and not fry the S37. I will report back with my findings in the next few weeks. That would be cool, I did pick up a couple Pots and sockets to m...

I don't need to see another thread or post about the same thing from "gertie" to keep my blood pressure from getting any higher.
