Not to say that it isn't - it could well be, but I have to admit to thinking it sounded 'bigger' than just a Model D. I suppose in the studio it could have been fattened up even more but I thought modular. A quicky google search yielded lots of Moog references, but I didn't see any actual gear list....

Yeah but who knows whos dancing for Richard D James, his face is on everyone!

And that was a very strange coincidence. And a good ad. Hey, glad I looked in here. Procrastination can lead to very interesting ends.

Yawgmoth. I was a former magic player myself. What terribly expensive tastes to like Moog products and that game. Only a rich or single man could be so foolhardy :O)

never, way to expensive for a 2 voice synth. so much can be done with the ~$5,000 it takes. Sobering comment to be sure. Realistically though, nobody in their right mind would consider getting into a Voyager(s) for the polyphony. The duophony is a side perk, but what I'm really after is simply a 6 ...

Re: Voyager Rack

Hey, I would like to say thanks for making something folks who work in music stores (who sell Moogs) can afford! I think 1 x RME 2 x cv mixers + the 2 in & out expanders looks like a lot of fun in one big rack. Have to buy it a bit at a time of course........... In this day & age when large...

You can do it!

Parusha said the main thing, with ANY analog drum. Filter with decent self-oscillation and a snappy envelope and the Voyager certainly provides fine examples of these. Add noise and modify envelope to taste. I recommend LP-HP mode. Try triggering with the touchpad for wilder results. Experiment with...

Voyager RME

Ok, I immediately sprung wood when I saw it. I'm curious, how many of you out there that already own a Voyager are considering adding this? I wonder... will there be a link mode of some sort so one can create patches utilising both a Voyager + one or more RMEs? 6 oscillators. . . 4 filters! GAAHHHHH...

With all due respect Martin, it does sound like you've fallen through the cracks a bit; I just wanted to offer the hope that all can be well in Moog land. I bought an early Vger and have since had it serviced up to 'modern' spec and its quiet and great. I added the blue wheels as a treat so it feels...

Thanks for the tip! Hmm... I've e-mailed them about grab-bag sized orders. I assume I'll be referred to an electronics outlet somewhere. A fun little quest will come out of this I think, heh.

Eagle eyes indeed. But good idea! Its a weird thing that the feel of a synth affects my enjoyment of it, and that hollow sound when my hands brush past the bigger Andromeda knobs always left the wrong taste in my mind. I think I'll do the same thing myself, only I may get them to match the ones on m...

Sorry, had one more thought to add here. In what could be another future-retro coupe by Moog, perhaps an optional wooden case in your wood of choice suitable for stacking your voyager on could be made. What better way to conveniently place the thing given the old-school styling of the Mini case, tha...

Voyager Expander.

I was just foolishly trying to determine how to distort my budget to allow for a second Voyager to act as a thickener for my first when it occured to me that I really just want an expander. Now, there are a lot of analog boxes out there that will do this already (I have a bunch myself) but how about...

revved up like a douche

On going round in circles, they originally used ARPs. Did the synths sound the same?

solved.

I had this issue with mine as well. It was fixed - a replacement on the performance board. Test this: put your Main volume knob right on 5. You'll hear a crackle and increase in the noise while sitting on that setting. It was covered in SoS magazine around the time of release of the Vger and Moog ac...

after beer...

Ok. It's now 3:04 am my time and the beers been rolling genrously, but i find myself compelled to speak/./ / (so to speak.. . ) Well... pick which unit you want as the 'master'. Gotta be this way with only one MIDI port. I suggest the Nord for the longer keyboard. Now, assign it what you will, EX-MI...
