Sounds like Ableton sends a program change MIDI message when the track starts. I'm not familiar with Ableton so I can't tell you where to fix this.

Just to conclude this old thread for future reference: After support sent me some auto calibration scripts, which did not help, I returned the synth and got another one. This one, luckily, was flawless. No broken keys. Oscillators in tune. I have been a happy tweaker ever since.

Hi all I had to return my previous Sub 37 due to two faulty keys. I received a brand new one today, but the oscillators are seriously out of tune with each other. I ran note calibration (full range) 4 times and they finally came into tune. But turning the synth on later they were out of tune again. ...

Thank you for explaining this. I think DUO mode is a nice bonus in any case and I now understand it better. Playing it encourages harmonies that are not apparent on polyphonic synths.
