Re: Roland TR 606 + Mother 32
There is also the Arturia Drumbrute, another modern analogue drum machine. I have not used one, and do not know how easy it is to sync, but it would be worth checking.

Re: Sub 37 Sound to Minitaur
You could just buy an external sequencer to connect to the Minitaur. Korg SQ-1 is $100, Arturia Beatstep Pro is $250 I believe, Doepfer Dark Time maybe $650 - all US dollar prices as I remember them. These are just the first three that come to mind, but probably quite a few more also.

If you have any Eurorack, Doepfer module A-119 would do it.

I am quite jealous - I would love to see them live, based on the live YouTube performances. Second album is really good too, did not disappoint after their great debut.
Did you see their Moog Lab session? They played plenty of Moog gear then

I added alternate coloured switch covers to my DT, which makes it easier to distinguish the skip-off-on and stop-jump-continue switches. With two rows of 1 fairly closely spaced switches, I find it really helps while performing.

Re: Is the Werkstatt more than a toy?
I made up some wood panels for it today. I had one knob already and have the rest coming from Small Bear. I thought it could look a little more Moogish. http://i1056.photobucket.com/albums/t370/faconcord/0947D509-353B-4CD3-8BF9-8D652545BAC7_zpsbxp0sm9a.jpg Resurrecting a long dead post, but if you ...

Cheap & Cheerful! http://www.ehx.com/products/8-step-program Korg SQ-1 - Cheaper and cheerfuller (that is a word, right?) - great performance options to rapidly change number of steps, mute steps, 2x8 or 1x16. One drawback is if you try to change mode, eg. from 2x8 forward to 2x8 backward, when...

Thanks Amos for the update. I had problems running the auto update - first time through, my S37 'bricked' - when powered on, all LEDS lit, no response from the synth. Then I recalled reading in another thread that the S37 should have a direct USB connection, not via hub. It was easier to plug direct...

Re: Sub37: No problem here :-)
I am also very happy with my Sub 37. I have only had it since January, but I have had no issues with it so far, and I love the sound and functionality. People who experience problems with a product are far more likely to post to forums than those with only positive experiences - they may be seeking ...

Re: Slim Phatty CV Outs
Hi Andy Given the likely high cost and hassle of getting the Slim modified, and if you don't want to use your Dark Energy, why not get a Doepfer Dark Link? According to Doepfer site, it is the same interface as used in the Dark Energy. I don'r know where you are, but in USA, the price is around $170...

Re: Sub 37 feature suggestions - firmware updates
Alright, this might be a hardware limitation, BUT I would like to be able to assign the Mod wheel and aftertouch directly to parameters without sacrificing an LFO. Often times I'll want to use aftertouch or the mod wheel for cutoff depth, and I have to sac a LFO for it. Or at the very least maybe s...
