That sounds about right. The analogue delay circuit is a bit noisy. It is most noticeable if you you have the cutoff frequency turned down and the delay mix set high.

Re: Anyone know which keybed is used on the Matriarch?
Thanks - I was guessing it was a Fatar. I find that most of the current midi controllers have horrible keybeds. They seem to focus on how many pads, sliders, and switches they can include. I ended up going with the Arturia Keylab 61 MKII. Great velocity response and smooth as butter AT - but very ex...

Anyone know which keybed is used on the Matriarch?
Hi, I'm trying to find a semi-weighted 61 key midi controller - does anyone know what keybed is in the Matriarch and if there is a controller that uses that keybed? It seems to be semi-weighted and is responsive to aftertouch. I believe that if I had a controller with that feel I would enjoy it. Wha...

Re: Matriarch plays two semitones lower than pressed
I haven't seen this problem. Have you checked to see if you have accidently bumped the master tune knob in the back of the unit?

Just tested it and have the same issue. Looks like a bug. I am running firmware 1.2.3.

Re: Matriarch - how can I see which firmware I'm running? Can't erase my firmware
Hi, When you send the Invalidate file - the Matriarch looses connection to the PC. You will need to reselect the midi out port again in you sysex software and then send the erase file. To show Firmware Version (this is from the firmware release document): This function indicates the currently-instal...

Hi All, I’ve updated Chonky to Ver 1.4.2. Ver 1.4.2 Features: • Matriarch firmware 1.2.3 - new Sysex parameter #74 support • Bug fix - if you turned off or disconnected the Matriarch / GM prior to shutting down Chonky – Chonky gave you an error on exit. • Improved timing - in sending data to the Mat...

Re: Matriarch Firmware v 1.1.0 Update Issue
If you're using Midi Ox after you send the first file (Invalidate) you have to close out and re-open Midi Ox. This was the only way I found to re-establish communication with the Matriarch. Just selecting the ports again didn't do it and I had the same problem you guys described. This is exactly wh...

Re: Grandmother / Spring Reverb Gone
Hi! I got today a demo unit that last week tried and everything fine but now at home the spring reverb don’t work. Some kind of distortion and high pass effect it adds (sounds cool but no reverb). Easy fix or back to the store? Regards, Magnus Over in the Facebook User group: https://www.facebook.c...

Re: "Chonky" - Parameter Manager for Matriarch / Grandmother
Chonky 1.4 has been released! I’ve taken input from several users and incorporated these changes into Ver 1.4: - Auto Load - automatically sync your data from your synth to Chonky on startup. - Data Sync Status - Red / Green indicator showing if the data displayed in Chonky matches your synth. - Qui...
