Ok, Filipe. Thanks for sharing!Filipe wrote:No, SaussDigit, not on this one. We wanted an evocative sound, meaning, electrified contrabass.SaussDigit wrote: Thanks Filipe.
No regular bass sound used, with Moogs around?
Apart from de violin partial, we use Moogs to sound like Moogs.
Cheers

Re: NEON Sitar
That electric violin sound is slick. I guess it comes from the LP... perhaps combined with samples? You liked it? Nice of you to say. https://soundcloud.com/user-611511402/collectible-4 It is a complex patch. The body of the tone, so to speak, is generated on a Voyager (pulse waveforms). Bow and ar...

Re: Need General Moog Synth Info Please
The DX with a little work can do sone great analog like sounds. It's capable of a lot mire than the ones "over heard" in the 80's. The reface is closer to the DX 9 since it's only 4 opperator snd not 6 like theDX7 but still has a lot of power. Yes the DX is capable of unsuspected sounds; ...

Re: Need General Moog Synth Info Please
(...) Not too much information yet, but Yamaha has a new line called reface, the CS is based on the CS anslog synths. The YC organs, DX. DX7 and CP pianos. Like with original DX series, one of the major DX Reface temptations is to emulate the moog tone: https://youtu.be/t1DvXBOkO5M?t=36s (Got a mat...

Awesome. It is the kind of news you recognize in very few places (mostly EUA) as good industrial practice.
In the remnant countries it you'd be pointed out as socialist or worse.

Do you happen to have a BLANK SoundSheet for the MULTIMOOG please (or the equivalent PDF booklet as the MiniMoog one mentioned earlier)?

Yes it is the Aquatarkus repeating pattern patch. The actual duck lead is much more difficult to program.monsterjazzlicks wrote:
I see this is the book that the OP refers to (ie it has the AQUATARKUS patch in).

Re: Fun with Chameleon
Not a difficult question, but the answer is not completely linear. First, the two instruments don’t compare. Sound quality, playability and versatility in programming sounds are vastly superior in the Minimoog, which is a matured musical instrument that stood the test of time. Sure I miss the addit...

Re: Fun with Chameleon
Thank you. Yes, the bass was ARP Odyssey. I kept the Minimoog on my left because it is such an authoritative instrument, specially for bass. It can re-create almost every other analog synth bass, but the same cannot be said for the ARP (or any other). Just change filter poles, resonance, etc. Cheer...

I believe the ARP Odyssey bass sound was used in the intro of Chameleon...
