Re: Voyager XL as Model 15 Modular Controller
Hi thedangore, I’ve learned that a real fundamental approach to accessing/controlling the 911 EG’s on the Model 15 as controlled by the Voyager XL is to first do as EricK suggests and contact Roger at synthesizers.com and purchase 1 (is sufficient) 1/4 in. voltage to S-trig cable… - I bought a coupl...

Re: Voyager XL as Model 15 Modular Controller
Hi there... sorry for just coming into the discussion so late. I've noticed the thread was started back in February. I too have a Voyager XL and Model 15 configuration. Are you still facing some challenges?

Re: 921 clamping point?
I hope this response isn't coming in too late. The clamping point feature is an aspect of the 921 Oscillator module that has been begging my interest for some time. But being a new owner of the Moog modular 15, my comprehension of the whole unit has come one step at a time and not without a lot of q...

Voyager XL / Dark Time Sequencing...
I'm trying to find a way to patch my Voyager XL to my Dark Time sequencer enabling my sequence to modulate key (pitch) when selecting a different note on my VXL. In other words... pressing a key on the the VXL changes the pitch or key of the sequence. Is this possible? Anyone out there tried this or...

Re: Adding Sequencer to my Voyager
The Voyager oscillators have so much heft and power and authority. If the the Sub 37 sounds fat, the Voyager sounds MORBIDLY OBESE. They each have their own style and feel and they are both amazing. I was from day one and remain in awe of my 37... but I knew within about a minute that the Voyager i...

Re: Adding Sequencer to my Voyager
... but I knew within about a minute that the Voyager is KING. Treat yourself my friend, have both. Hey is this a DARE? Just kidding... and I seriously believe you have a good point. I've been looking at the Voyager XL for a few years, now. Maybe one day soon I'll be a proud owner. Thanks for the g...

Re: Adding Sequencer to my Voyager
Thanks, just curious to know (as I noticed elsewhere in the forum) which ipad sequencer do you use... Phaedra?analoghaze wrote:I am using a Dot Com Q119. I also use an iPad and sequencing software with a MIDI interface. The iPad is a strong sequencing tool.

Re: Samll sequencer example Sub37
Please can you elaborate a little Tyler? ... Sure, I'll try my best to explain. To date I've been entering sequences on the Sub 37 just as described in the manual. Recently, I was entering sequences with a particular ADSR setting (short attack longish sustain/release) so for example, if I strike a ...

Re: Small sequencer example Sub37
Hey all you Sub 37 sequencers. This might be a well known fact but I just made a cool sequencing discovery with my Sub 37. I know that you can alter the sonic capabilities of notes in a sequences by simply playing with the sound parameters while a given sequence is playing back or cycling through a ...

Re: Adding Sequencer to my Voyager
Very interested in sequencing and as a Sub 37 owner with eyes on buying a MiniMoog Voyager... I'm curious to know the following... can you connect the Sub 37 (via midi out) to the Voyager (midi in) and use the sequencer or arpeggiator on the Sub 37 to control or send sequences to the Voyager? If so ...

Re: S37 - Ladder Filter Collapsing!
Great news and thanks to everybody who've contributed to this thread. I talked to Andy at Moog and he turned me onto the Canadian contact who handle all Moog RMA work north of the border. The response from that contact was swift and to the point. I'm waiting to receive shipping directions. All servi...

Re: S37 - Ladder Filter Collapsing!
Really gutted but it hasn't stopped me playing it, all be it trying to avoid messing with the Filter cuttoff knob too often. Hey, I know the feeling very well my friend. I'm half way through a recording project with the Sub 37 as the main voice and am clammering to finish, and all! Hopefully we can...

Re: S37 - Ladder Filter Collapsing!
Having been the originator of this topic, I just want to be clear about a couple of things. First, my Sub 37 did not arrive with this problem. It simply started to act up just four months after having worked with it. Secondly, the ladder filter knob is fully functional (it hasn't come off, as others...
