Mod and pitch wheel getting sticky....

Anyone else have that prob? Mine is a 2012 model so 10 years old now but it's weird. I have a few Nikon cameras with a rubbery grip that is the same way, it's like the rubber gets really gummy with age. Other than that, everything is peachy, I've had no probs with it and it's a blast to play...

Re: If you have a bunch of cool patches and then update firm

Ok, thanks all. I'll just back up a computer then. I have a Win 8.1 laptop. I'll download the SysEx program (MidiOx) and see if I can get this to work. Yeah, you're right, there is a lot of time invested in making patches and some of them I'd hate to lose. I suppose I better organize the patches to ...

Re: What do you store in the back of your Voyager?

I was thinking it's a good spot for a 12" sub or something .... roast beef or maybe corned beef. :o

If you have a bunch of cool patches and then update firmware

.... will it hose up the patches? Here is another question ... I have a few other midi devices like a XP3080 Roland module and a DSI Prophet 12. Can I use one of those as a 'controller' to back u p my Sub37 patches on the computer? I'm not quite sure how that works. I have a cable that is two...

Re: Sub 37 - Non-Tribute Edition?

I have to agree that this has been the best $1500. spent on a synth in a long time (other than my Poly Evolver Rack earlier this year). The Sub 37 BEGS to be experimented with and I for one, actually like the keyboard action and entire aesthetics of the instrument. "Instrument"...it feels...

Re: Alternative Dust Covers

Dust cover huh?

I ended up buying the Moog Gig bag from Musician's Friend ... it's nicely padded and was only $62 shipped. But yeah, if you have the sub planted somewhere you probably just need a cover.

Re: So the Voyager can only play one note at a time ....

Actually this is something I just thought of that might work. I've used my dot com modular oscillators with a midi/cv module to make a two voice Voyager. http://youtu.be/PJB4U6HQbwM But you can probably use that same concept within the voyager it self. Oscillator one controlled by the voyager. With...

I never even noticed it. I love the feel of the keys on this keyboard, it blows my DSI Prophet 12 away!

So the Voyager can only play one note at a time ....

.... but are there any tricks to make it sound like it's doing more than that, like tuning different oscillators to different pitches and such? I really wanted a voyager but ended up buying the sub37 just because it had the two note thing going. I still want a voyager. More key and more knobs = bett...

Re: Hi, I'm new here .... just bought a sub 37

Congrats and welcome. Press controllers button in one of the lfo sections and set all controllers to zero except for aftertouch, set that between 50 and 100%. Then turn the knob for pitch or whichever in the lfo section and hey presto, aftertouch works. Thanks, That was pretty easy... so it looks l...

Wow, I just can't believe all the sounds you can get out of this thing.

Some things are a little confusing though ...like getting the aftertouch to work, the manual isn't real clear. Anyway, I'll get it after a while. I'll have to check the forum out and read up on some stuff.
