Re: Sirin and Minitaur
I've got two Sirins coming in the mail wednesday. Ill let you guys know what I think but my ears take a while to process the differences. I am a huge fan of this new synth from Moog. I've got a good feeling about it and its sound. Been wishing the Minitaur went into the upper ranges for a long time ...

I was not sure if they were different formats and so different voltages and could not be used this way together.

Re: Selling Sub 37
I have found that you just have to call Moog and get in touch with a person live on the phone and they will handle things for you. I talked them into sending me the POT just in case it caused trouble in the future. I won't sell it separate though. I don't get Ebay. Its a bid system right? No way am ...

Selling Sub 37
I have a perfect condition Sub 37 that I am wanting to sell but I hate Ebay so Im putting this here. It would come with owners manual and the Moog case they made for it. If anyone wants a Sub 37 send me a message and we can work out the price and arrangements. My Sub 37 came with the plastic POT for...

mother 32 and minitaur
I know nothing about modular but have two mother 32's and a minitaur. I am wondering if I can use the patch bay on one of my mother 32's and connect it to the minitaur so that whatever note I play on the mother 32 triggers the same note on the minitaur?

Re: Newbie deciding between Minitaur and Mother 32. Help???
I have both but would be partial to the Minitaur if I could only have one as a beginner synth. It is just way more simple to learn and use than the Mother 32. On the other hand the Mother 32 has more possibilities long term The Minitaur has a really deep bass end growl that no other synth I have can...

Moog theramin etherwave
I went to a woman's house today to help her with moving some junk out of a room she did not want and one of the things she was throwing out was a Theremin Etherwave! so I just got one for free. That is pretty cool and I was always going to get one but this was a neat way to have one come into my lif...

Re: Moog One Answers
As a bass player I mostly use monophonic instruments but use many other synths for drones and such while playing. Since the oscillators can provide so many more voices on the ONE I am leaning towards purchasing one anyway as a super-synth that can do everything I need it to do. What I need to know ...

Re: Sub 37 vs Model D
Unless you have money to burn, stick with the Sub-37 which delivers a hell of a punch for the price. The new D is for retro-gear fetishists I think. I don't know man. I like that there are no digital parts to this thing (outside the keyboard). The other synth that is attractive to me is the Voyager...

I'm not gonna lie man that sounds just incredible to me. I can't believe I went so long in my life (I'm old as hell) without knowing what a synth even was.....

Re: Sub 37 vs Model D
New and for now I am going under the assumption that the basic sound is going to be the same or very close.
