Just got LSDJ for my GameBoy, so I've been working on some cover songs for fun...

Werkstatt all knobbed up
Just got some new knobs in the mail, and made my Werkstatt all pretty. You can't read the labels anymore, but I don't care. It's easy enough to figure out.

It's a note with the stem folded in on itself.

It's a DIY synth. It's just being listed by someone who put Moog on the description to maximize views.

Re: Werkstatt Knobs
I've bought knobs off of synthesizers.com to make my Wekstatt look officially more Moog-like. The knobs do cover up the labels, but damn if it doesn't look good.

Re: Post your latest purchase!!
I just got a Beatstep Pro at jsharpphoto's recommendation and after he let me play with his. I'm suddenly in love with sequencing again. I even fired up a twenty year old laptop and transferred over some sequences I wrote back when I was sequencing on a computer.

Re: Problems sequencing Werkstatt with CV Gate
Anne,
I can't answer to why, but I can say your experience is not uncommon. Neither my Microbrute or my Syntecno TeeBee gates can trigger the envelope. But the Beatstep Pro always works. I hope the 12v gate won't do any damage, because that's how I'm sequencing mine.

Re: Temperature Compensation Questions
I can't speak for how it does with temperature, but before you consider it for stage please be reminded that it only has a course tune knob. So without fine control, if the temperature does effect its stability it will be a major pain to get it back in tune.

Re: NAMM 2016 NEW SYNTHS
I wonder if the folks on the OB6 and Matrixbrute forums are talking about how cool Moog gear is ... I'm sure they are. At least the most recently newsworthy Moog, the Mother. You know you don't have to be brand loyal to a fault, right? Yeah. Moog makes great synths, but so do other companies. And t...

Re: NAMM 2016 NEW SYNTHS
Yeah. I have some serious gear lust for the MatrixBrute. Got a Microbrute and love the sound -- so something that capable on top of it would be great.
And the Sequential OB6. Someone got chocolate in my peanut butter. Dave Smith and Tom Oberheim together? Yes, please.

Sorry to hear that it wasn't to your liking. I was looking forward to coming over and trying it out. Done and done and on to the next one, as they say.

trans critical I already illustrated where your "criticism" is really ridicule. That's what makes you a bigot. Bigots know that bigotry is wrong -- so they try to redefine their bigotry as something else to justify their belief that they are good people. They come up with different words ...

"Privacy for everyone"... except the women. Who cares about protecting the rights of over 50% of the population if a group that constitutes one third of one percent might get their feelings hurt? Your liberal friends don't care, so surely it is acceptable for all women? Transwomen do not ...
