Like you, I think it would be great to have it all consolidated to the editor device - but really not sure if that's possible given the signal chain. Just a curious thing that the plugin knobs reflect the hardware knobs movement, but don't relay the parameter changes to the Sub 37's automation lane...

Yep, it's possible to do this for all controller lanes (except CC8 - LFO2 which is a bug being fixed). Like jsharpphoto says, make sure the MIDI i/o is setup correctly… watch out for feedback loop (turn local control off).
