Re: Sub 37 Arp Synch to Pro Tools 11 DAW

Maybe sync DAW with external MIDI-gear? In cubase this is done by pressing ctrl + mouseclick on SYNC and then: Midi clock follows project position: Yes/check Always send start message: Yes/check Send midi clock in stop mode: Yes/check Read more here: http://forum.moogmusic.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&...

37's arpeggiator latch-function?

37 synced to Cubase/DAW. Arpeggiator on. Arpeggiator latch on. When holding down two or more keys with my fingers, the arp plays all notes. When I release fingers from keys, only one note is arpeggiated (last one pressed down), even if latch is on. For several notes/keys to be arpeggiated I have to ...

Re: Little Phatty arpeggiator + stuck notes

According to you, without even speaking of choices and compromises, how long should a company maintain their products? For as long as the customers find the product useful. I think my Juno-106 is still a useful product... Yeah.. Probably because it doesn't require any driver update. Think about tha...

It's like a car: The car manufacturer can't just stop making spear parts. Doing that would make the car useless within a short...

Re: Little Phatty arpeggiator + stuck notes

The M-Audio interface lasted around three years, before M-Audio made it useless by not providing 64 bit driver update. I presume M-Audio didn't provide a 64 bit driver at the time you bought the interface either. You made the choice to replace your computer's 32 bit operating system with a 64 bit o...

Re: Little Phatty arpeggiator + stuck notes

I don't know for M-Audio, but DSI and Moog are small companies. Maybe you already know that; what do you think?... I think that any serious product making company should make sure that all their products work the way they're supposed to. That's the least a consumer should be able to expect when buy...

Re: Little Phatty arpeggiator + stuck notes

Why won't Moog fix this? Shouldn't they fix their product so that it does work? Well, I don't know if they will or will not not. But, based on the fact that the issue has been around for a very long time and no firmware update has addressed it successfully, I seriously doubt they will fix it now th...

Re: How And Where To Learn Sub37/Modulation

Assuming you don't know any of this... Press INIT. Mute/turn down anything except OSC1. What you hear is the raw, basic sound coming from oscillator 1. Try to adjust it's waveform, by turning WAVE-knob in OSCILLATORS 1 section. Try messing with filter; cutoff and resonance. Changes are happening.. b...

Re: How And Where To Learn Sub37/Modulation

Turn on your Sub 37, hold down INIT-button, and start tweaking :D Do you understand the chain of sound in synths? The raw and most basic sound comes from the oscillator. E.g. you can start with OSC 1 alone. (Mute or turn down the volume on SUB 1, OSC 2, NOISE and EXT). Now you can select OSC1's wave...
