Re: Sub 37 Filter Cutoff: First Batch vs. Revised Batch
The last day of my warranty is tomorrow... I noticed about the flimsy filter knob for quite a long time but I played it like this anyway. It never jumped like some reported though. But now that the warranty is about to expire I'm freakin... So I just wrote to Moog and asked them to change the board ...

Re: Sub 37 - the best monosynth of all time?
Hirlostek Puts Noise Generator On A Plug! :D Anyone else had a look at this? Could it be of use on the 37? Hey that's cool!! Some complained about the pink noise in other topics and I agree that to me pink noise is less versatile than white... Surely a matter of taste but a switch for white/pink wo...

Re: Sub 37 feature suggestions - firmware updates
You're right, I must admit that repeating twice a note in random is inevitable, specially if the arpeggiation is on one octave and made of few notes. But on several octaves with a lot of notes I still heard regularly the sub37 play three times in a row the same note (on random arp) and it really was...

Re: Sub 37 feature suggestions - firmware updates
I would love it if the random mode in the arpeggiator had the option to never repeat the same note twice in a row. I totally agree!! It always bugged me, and sometime it even repeat a note three time in a row (same note, same octave)... That's too much really. I never heard that in other random arp...

Re: Sub 37 feature suggestions - firmware updates
As explained in details in this topic: http://forum.moogmusic.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=22823 Amongst other extravagant requests and other caprice I would have, this one is more of a "basic" nature: Be able to dial a synced triplet value (1/4t, 1/8t...) when scrolling with the arpeggiato...

Sub37: scolling triplet values on synced Arpeggiator and LFO
Maybe you already noticed, it is impossible to dial a synced triplet division on the arpeggiator and LFOs via their dedicated panel’s knobs . The explanation from Moog is that “the panel knobs specifically skip triplets, for ease of live tweaking” . But this is not an option, it’s like this by defau...

Re: Sub 37 Firmware bugs
Ok, here are two of the bugs I experience. I’m on 1.0.7 KBD RESET ON option in GLOBAL MENU > SEQ OPTIONS doesn't behave as explained in the manual . Instead of "restarting the sequence from the first note every time I press a new key", it actually just restart the course of the arp/seq . I...

Re: Sub 37 feature suggestions - firmware updates
Here's an important one for me: we should be able to change the phase of the triangle wave of the LFOs. This would allow us to set where the triangle the LFO starts from and it would be useful specially when LFO is set on KB RESET or SYNCed to external clock. Actually it always start at the default ...

Re: Sub 37 Triplet problem
Strangely, when I use a midi controller to swipe one of these rates (LFOs or arp) I go through every subdivisions including triplets... It is super strange, am I really the only one?

Sub 37 Triplet problem
Let's say I'm on external clock with the arp and LFOs synced. When I turn the arpeggiator and/or LFOs rate knobs, I am unable to get the triplet division. Suppose I start with a 1/4 division, as slow as I turn the knobs I will always go from 1/4 > 1/8dot > 1/8 > 1/16dot > 1/16 > etc... (it's suppose...

Re: SUB37 / MIDI SYNC / External Clock
Just save your presets with the arp/sync button ON, then you won't have to do it every single time you switch preset. To me it's very nice to have the option to have presets that are synced to the external clock and others that are not.
