Re: Question about display (protective plastic)
That's just a protective film that's intended to be removed. I pull those films off of all products when I get them. The screens are usually sharper and clearer without the protective film.

Piggyback stand for Sub, Subsequent, Little Phatty
Hi everyone. I've developed a stand that allows you to hold music gear "piggyback" on a Sub, Subsequent or Little Phatty synth. I came up with the idea since my home setup is so small and I needed a place to put fx pedals and a Yamaha Reface DX. Check it out: https://kvgear.com/products/su...

You might also try at the Muffwigglers forum. They are big into modular there.

Re: Using moogerfoogers on the aux send and return
The MF-104M works flawlessly with my Mackie 1602 VLZ4 mixer, with no need for a DI box, no mixer mods, and good control over wet/dry mix. Here's the setup. Everything on my mixer is set to nominally be at unity gain (0 dB boost). I only go above or below unity on an as-needed basis, which isn't ofte...

Re: Using moogerfoogers on the aux send and return
I have an MF-104M running through the aux send/return on my Mackie mixer. Works great!

Re: I am grateful I have a Traumatic Brain Injury
I was just playing my Sub37, MF-104M, Prophet 6 and TR-8 last night, so perhaps I can shed some light. The Prophet 6 compliments the Sub37 very well. Their tones are quite different but they blend together nicely in a mix. Same holds true for the TR-8. It's not analog, but it sounds close enough to ...

Re: Moog Mother-32
That's my sketch! I went back to look at the Mother-32 a couple of times to get a good mental snapshot.

Re: Moog Mother-32
The Mother-32 at Knobcon didn't have a full ADSR envelope. It was A and D only. There was a switch to set it to full sustain.

Re: Moog Mother-32
The Mother-32 will do MIDI to CV. I checked it out at Knobcon. I'm not into modular, but this looks like an easy and not-so-dangerous entry into that world. The official unveiling will be this Wednesday.

Re: Werkstatt discontinued?
I've just gotten home from Knobcon where I saw the new Moog Mother-32. Once you see the Mother-32 you'll understand why the Werkstatt was discontinued. Save your pennies because this looks pretty cool. I'll try to create a new thread for the Mother-32. I'm not certain which subforum it should go into.

Re: Moog MF-103
I finally did the pseudo-stereo trick a couple of days ago by hard panning the main and aux outs from my MF103. Nice! Very nice. It really makes things sound more alive. Another trick I tried was to send an EP to a spring reverb, then the reverb out to the MF103. The dry EP in parallel with the reve...

Re: MF-106?
Haven't you guys heard about the soon-to-be-released MF-106? It's a Juno-106 in pedal format. The only difference is that the filter is a classic Moog ladder.
I've heard it's going to be release at the beginning of April next year.

Re: MF-104M Feedback
Andy: Great info. Thanks! I really appreciate you (and Moog) sharing details like that.
It will be a week or two before I have time to open up my 104 and adjust the trim pot. I'm looking forward to hearing the difference.

Re: MF-104M Feedback
You don't need to feed the output through a mixer and back into the input, they were saying try the feedback loop in/out jack. You should be able to get an input and output out of the feedback loop jack (because it uses a TRS jack to allow both). Well I use both feedback loops, the internal one, an...
