Re: Strange Ring Mod Behavior - Heisenberg's LFO
Ha ha do laugh with me, please! But this is actually happening, and it seems quite odd. I can move the rate of the Moogerfooger LFO by a substantial amount just via proximity of a hand, almost as if it were a Theremin. As mentioned above, same thing more or less happens with the Minifooger Ring, so ...

Strange Ring Mod Behavior - Heisenberg's LFO
Not even sure how to describe this and might need to make a video, but here's the situation. Have Minifooger Ring Mod that operates just fine, until I approach the device, say reach out to adjust a knob. Once I get in proximity the Freq changes. Just bought a Moogerfooger Ring Mod and it does the sa...

Re: what delay and verb to get?
Can confirm the MF-Delay sounds great with the Sub37, and its Drive function is a very nice addition to the gain staging. That said, I have replaced the MF-Delay with an El Capistan (faux tape delay) and I like its tone a good step more.

Re: Yes inducted into the R&R Hall of Fame ... ModelD/Kronos
I can't say that for Journey because their fake lead singer a) didn't sound good and b) was more fake than the fake news. Maybe I've got that last part wrong? But it was a major let down for the large number of Journey fans (not necessarily me). Have you seen a doc about Journey's search for a new ...

Re: Slim Phatty Owner - Now for a Sub Phatty or Sub 37?
Should I just sell the Slim Phatty and go for the Sub 37? Don't sell the Slim! I have the Sub37 and the Slim Phatty and genuinely prefer the sound of the Slim. It is has a warmth that is very appealing to the ear. That said, with careful programming I have always been able to recreate any Slim pres...

Re: New Ep-3 grainy sounding. Any luck cleaning it?
Gotta agree with the OP here, the EP-3s develop noisy pots rather quickly. I purhcased a demo pedal, and quickly noticed the issue (grainy sound on sweeps). Thought to myself, OK, bought a demo. It's cool. Deal with itl Bought a new one, and it arrived "dirt free", and remained so for abou...

Re: Sub 37 rumors/new features wishlist
Maybe it's buried in the menu somewhere, but I'd love it there was a highpass filter available for the noise generator. It's difficult to blend it in with the oscillators without becoming overbearing. Try using the NOISE MOD source, and applying it to a parameter, like OSC WAV. It can add a noisy e...

Re: Cycle programmed sequence pressing a keyboard key.
I think you can connect a sustain pedal to the CV GATE input, then assign the GATE to advance the sequencer. Have not tried this, but I believe it can be done. Hope this helps.

Re: Religion and Politics thread coming soon....
First of all this law is about much more then where someone can pee. It is a law that makes it legal to fire someone because of who they are. You can kick someone out of their apt or deny them a home loan because of who they choose to love. One can deny basic needs such as a bathroom. you could den...

Re: Religion and Politics thread coming soon....
Obviously the law cannot prevent rapists from entering bathrooms. It does at least allow women to express their concerns about male-bodied occupants without having to worry about being accused of "discrimination." What a relief! Those Women now feel safe to express their concerns about pe...

Re: Religion and Politics thread coming soon....
Does it matter at all what any of us think about another persons "junk"? How is this law supposed to protect anyone? Let's explore the law from a practical standpoint and see how works, if it does at all. As a prophylactic against rape, we hope this law will stop the criminal before they e...

Welcome! I was a keyboard players in the '80s and '90s (yes, I am old too!) who left the instrument for decades. The Sub37 brought me back into synths. It absolutely does the classic sounds you know and love from the past.markwa wrote:(yes I am old !)

Re: WNAMM2016: Korg Minilogue
- just think of it as a different instrument, with a different interface. Do Viola players complain about violins not having full-size strings? Hell - there are plenty of guitarists picking up mandolins and ukeles and they seem to cope. ^This. But with the caveat that string players don't simply &q...
