Feature Request: Aftertouch reception for Sirin/Minitaur
I use aftertouch a lot and noticed that both the Sirin and Minitaur receive MIDI info when I trigger aftertouch from any aftertouch equipped board. However the aftertouch doesn't affect the sound as it cant be routued anywhere. Please please please, could we get a way to route this aftertouch MIDI i...

Re: Voyager Slew Rate Mod
I had the slew rate mod done recently at HHB in the uk along with the aftertouch mod and filter glide mod. My Voyager now sounds and feels light years ahead compared to how it was previously. Night and day for me sonically.

Does the 'slew rate mod' improve the sound or not?
So im considering the slew rate mod, ive heard a few clips and im not sure if it still sounds like a voyager- im worried it changes the character of the voyager too much. I love the way the voyager sounds and have owned mine since new in 2014 (anniversary model) I'd definitely like some more air in ...

Re: Sub 37 Tribute Edition with plastic end caps?
If serial is 396 then surely that's a new product run and not the tribute?

Re: Moog to release modules this year
I would normally agree however Moogs last few trademarks have all actually appeared on the market except the matador.

Re: Moog to release modules this year
Whats perhaps more interesting is that back in September 2014 Moog took out a trademark on Minimoog Model D. I have the screen grab from the trademark office that was posted in a thread on gearslutz. To me this means a Model D reissue is on the cards!! http://trademarks.justia.com/863/92/minimoog-mo...

Re: Sub 37 - Non-Tribute Edition?
I love the key action on the Sub37. The only Keybed better in my opinion is Korg kronos/m3 Personal preference of course. I'm just speaking from comparing the lp Keybed and sub37 together. Both great but different due to the after touch strip in the 37. I'm not making this up- there's a big differe...

Re: Sub 37 - Non-Tribute Edition?
All good. I think whilst after touch is great the Keybed in the sub37 doesn't feel as fast to play as the lp. The key travel before trigger is further down and there also seems to be a little latency after key on to me. Build is great though as expected.

Re: Sub 37 - Non-Tribute Edition?
Nothing will be missing from the non tribute version if the lp is anything to go by. In fact it's likely to be an improvement based on that. Maybe a cv out mod, and prubbdbly black rubberised end panels like the lps2. Maybe slightly cheaper.

Re: Sub 37 - Non-Tribute Edition?
I'm thinking of moving on from my Little Phatty, but the price jump to ~£1200 seems too much of a leap for me to justify... though I guess I could be persuaded  Other Keyboard Player in our band has a Little Phatty and we are all amazed at the build quality differences between it and the Sub3...

Re: Request for new OS
I can't see the voyager getting discontinued. there's is nothing currently in the moog range that sounds or feels like it. And any improved version is going to be more expensive putting it out of the reach of most folks. A board upgrade seems logical to me with additional features such as arp, seque...

Sub 37 vs Little Phatty: Sonics
So, anyone got both and want to chime in on how they sound next to each other? Similar? Different? Crossover?

Re: Moog Music UK 90s Minimoog?
At the time of the Welsh Minimoog, the US Moog trademark was not yet in Bob's hands. Don Martin owned it during his infamous Cincinnati-based operation attempt to clone minimoogs and moog modulars, and the trademarks were later defaulted to Bob during the bankruptcy proceedings. Because the tradema...
