Loading Presets into iOS Model-D

Apologies if this has been explained before - I did a search of the forum but could not find the answer. There is a new set of 48 presets that are available FREE for the iOS Model-D I was notified by a SonicState tweet :- https://sonicstate.com/news/2020/03/20/free-presets-for-moog-model-d-ios/?utm_...

Re: so many bugs, and no arrival date.

Haven't quite saved enough for one yet yet but then, as I am in the UK, that is not such a pressing problem :D

Hopefully, by the time I get my hands on one some more of these bugs will have been ironed out.

Re: Grandmother Power/Noise issue

Hi - not sure if you are in the Facebook GM group but if you are you might have seen my recent post. The power supply that comes with the GM has the mains earth pin connected through to the 0 volt / barrel of the DC plug which means that ultimately mains earth is connected to GM audio out 'chassis' ...

Re: Re subsequent 37 digital hash

Ok, probably a suggestion you have already thought of but remove the other connections one by one to see if the 'digital hash' disappears.

If you find a particular culprit give that connection its own mains connection and see if the Sub now sounds okay with all the others on the power bar.

Re: Re subsequent 37 digital hash

Hi

Did you have anything else plugged in to your power bar?

Is it from the same Chinese manufacturer?
I think it is still not Fatar!
If it is the same as used on the Subsequent 37 - as I believe is the case - then I shall be happy even if it is not Fatar

Re: Sub 37 upgrade legit or troll?

As I have a Subsequent 37 CV I was looking for the keybed only upgrade for my Sub37 - keep them sonically different- in the UK I have been quoted £127.20 ex VAT but then you have to add outgoing shipping costs to that.

Re: sub 37 CV editor

There was some advice elsewhere here about removing the Sub 37 folder and restarting the Editor. I did that and it seems to make sure I could capture all my Sub 37 CV presets even though I think I have to click on Capture Hardware to display them - prior to that it would go through the download proc...

Re: sub 37 CV editor

Pretty sure it does. If you register your Sub 37 CV with Moog you get a link to the editor

Having posted all that ... the FATAR website is a rabbit hole of umpteen model variations..... I await a more authoritative opinion :D

Re: Can I buy a Fatar keybed from a Subsequent 37 for my Sub

I took a quick photo of my Subsequent 37 this morning, before heading to work, and checked the Fatar website and screen grabbed a portion of the standard TP9 key bed (the TP8 is similar).... the 'overhang' of the Sub doesn't tie in with the more 'waterfall' style of the standard Fatar keys but it do...

Re: Can I buy a Fatar keybed from a Subsequent 37 for my Sub

Rufus, have you taken the opportunity to compare with the Voyager? :D I have just done a quick comparison and I think the Voyager key bed is actually a heavier action than the Subsequent 37 I don't know what Dave Smith uses for keys but my Pro 2 feels very similar in action to the Subsequent 37 R.

Re: Can I buy a Fatar keybed from a Subsequent 37 for my Sub

I like your thinking but I would anticipate that the resale value of the Sub 37 might be about to fall, due to the arrival of the Subsequent plus there is another fundamental problem for me... ... Sell? Sell one of my synths? Are you mad? :D The only synth I have ever sold was the MS20 re-issue with...

Re: Can I buy a Fatar keybed from a Subsequent 37 for my Sub

I have both a Sub 37 and Subsequent 37 CV and would love to upgrade the key bed of my Sub 37 Have you tried a Voyager? How does the Subequent 37's keybed to that one? I have a Voyager too - I will compare the action when I get it out of the flight case .. can only have so many synths out at the sam...
