Re: Sub 37 - can't seem to engage sequencer 'seq'|'rec' at all
Your sequencer/arp selector switch is probably dead. Ive had to replace two on my sub37, on two separate occasion: LFo2 shape and Osc1 octave switch. Both seemed to die suddenly, like overnight, without any kind of abuse or prior symptoms of failure. One day they worked, the next time i used it, the...

Whoa, that really sucks! Have you tried performing the note calibration routine? Its a long shot, but it may help

Re: no audio.
Are you sure you loaded the second part of the FW? Sometimes after sending the "erase" sysex, it can take up to 30-40 seconds for the synth to reboot and get recognized by your sysex tool (sysex librarian, c6) . If you hit 'send' before the minitar reconnected, it did not receive the new F...

Re: Sub 37 - Modulate between slopes in beat
Select filter slope for one of the mod destinations and sync that LFO to arp/midi. Adjust the LFO speed to get one step per beat. Play around with the mod amount knob and the "start' position of the slope. (I think) if the knob is turned 'up', the slope has to be at the lowest position (so the ...

Re: sub 37 editor standalone working vst cannot connect
Im having similar problems but I trying the standalone editor, using not the VST feature- MAC OS10.9.5 . Editor 1.0 and fw 1.2 It worked a few months ago, but now I have trouble connecting. Can get some features to work : change led brightness, etc; but does not read patches from the synth and alway...

Re: Is the Sub 37 capable of producing Minitaur lows?
I have a sub 37 and recently picked up a minitaur for something smaller and more portable. While they are fairly similar and have a lot of overlap, the minitaur does have that special something that makes it worth it, least in my book.
They sound really great together

Re: Delay/Reverb Effect Pedal for the SUB37
If you are thinking memory boy, definitely get the Deluxe. The tap tempo and extra features make it surely worth the price difference. Like the previous poster said, look into used pedals to get more bang for the euro. My Deluxe Memory Boy was like $120, on ebay no less.

Re: Suggentions for case or softbag for Sub 37
Maybe they worked better with the LP; but for the sub 37, I have to agree that the straps suck. I never use them- they totally appear to crush the knobs and as far as I can tell, their only function is to only prevent the synth from falling out of the case if it is opened while standing. Not somethi...

Re: Suggentions for case or softbag for Sub 37
Just did 2 things that make me feel way more confident about using the sub 37 gig bag: first, I added a piece of grey egg crate foam, approximately 18"x 28", to rest on top the synth; and second, I stuck a 21" long 2.5"x 2.5" block of grey foam in the inside pocket. The form...

I think that the 'distortion' that you hear is from the 2 frequencies beating against one another-

Re: Expression pedal with Sub 37
That could be a little complicated to try to accomplish all at once. As long as we are talking DIY project, I would recommend starting w/ something simple like getting it to work w/ one parameter, then splitting heel and toe, then slew rate, etc. offset and curve may be tough and would involve some ...

Re: Expression pedal with Sub 37
A CP-251 would help with this: http://www.moogmusic.com/products/moogerfoogers/cp-251-moogerfooger-control-processor But a simpler solution might be to get a controller (box or keyboard) that has TRS Continuous Footcontroller inputs which can be remapped to various MIDI commands, including CC#s, Pi...
