Re: Fail after Sub 37 to Subsequent 37 upgrade!

I just got my sub 37 upgraded back. When pressing the init /panel button, the screen worked fine, but no sounds would come out of the synth. Only presets would work but the second VCO lost tracking in the upper notes. I did first reinstall the 1.2 firmware. But nothing changes. A note calibration fi...

Re: Sub 37 Low Headphone Level

I have to agree that in rehearsal I also find that the headphone level output is too low for me, because sometimes I just can't put the main volume to the max, cause it may be too much for gear input...

Re: Sub37 + MFB Tanzbar

hi i've got a tanzbaer and a sub37 in my set, so far no problem with the midi clock. the midi clock (and other special midi messages like start - stop - etc) from the tanzbear is transmitted to the midi out. it does stop to transmit if you plug a cable in the midi in though. you have two midi in and...

Re: Sub 37 and TR-8... is this possible?

hi good news ! that's the way to go. in my system I use the click output from my oberheim DX to sync my juno 60 and poly 6. I route the signal through a patch bay, so I can duplicate it and also I could sum it with other audio signal, f.e. the click and the snare drum. it's not "legit" but...

Re: Sub 37 and TR-8... is this possible?

hi as you mentioned, I think It won't be possible without an extra gear. but you should try to find a MS20 or something equivalent. you could just build and play your pattern / rhythm on the TR-8 and use the sound output to modulate an envelop or / and a CV + TRIGG, and so modulate the Sub37 with th...

Re: Non metronomic patterns?

this is an interesting topic, cause what's "groove" anyway. nowadays, almost every recorded samples are instantly and automatically quantized. imho, you can have a beat / phrase who groove but is perfectly on the beat. groove is different from swing. you could add swing to you sequence. it...

Re: Sub 37 and TR-8... is this possible?

of course it's possible. -you can connect the midi out from the tr8 to the midi in of the sub37, sync both lfo's a tweak them -you can also sync and loop both ASDR -you can program and sync the sub37 sequencer step with mod -you could use a Korg MS20, and use the ESP -you could use a MF-105M MIDI Mu...

Re: Why is the Moog footpedal better than ones half the cost

I don't think that this foot pedal is better or worst than any other plastic pedal. buy it if you like it. it surely works fine and looks great. nothing more nothing less. it's the same with moog's synths. buy them if you like them, the way they sound, the way they look. there is no need to be ratio...

Re: Filter CutOff Issue

Hi, maybe I wasn't clear enough, sorry. the firmware 1.1.4 comes with the editor's beta. and only beta testers have it (I'm one of the beta testers). it's not available yet and it's just a version made for the editor. so you won't need it. anyway, it doesn't solve the problem. (I first thought that ...
