Re: 1.1.0 is now here!

Yeah, the update is fantastic. Only thing that got broken is the Panel Mode. Quite often, when I switch to Panel Mode, I notice that some parameters aren't what the knob positions are suggesting. Moving the knobs causes a hard jump of the actual parameter value, and then it's correct. Not dramatic,...

Re: Time For New Moogerfoogers!

I think a 'Fooger based on the 914 module would be pretty sick. A moog filterbank with a HPF option...please! While I think this is total 'dream' territory, I'd like to see a digital delay paired with the LPF in a 'fooger format. I have the mf104m, and it's great. A crisp digital one with some solid...

Re: Sub 37, SN, owner, location list

00055 Chapel Hill, NC I put down the pre-rder with SweetWater 15 minutes after I saw the Namm video/announcment. I got it late last July I think. It had the very first OS version on it. To be a part of the progress of it's OS has been awesome. V1.1 is going to knock people's socks off! I had the Cut...

Re: MF-104M - Delay Time won't sync to midi clock.

I too have been experiencing this issue recently. It seems to happen more often if the pedal is plugged in and is turned on via a powerstrip switch. If it pull the plug and reset it it seems to be okay for a bit, but it's not as reliable as it once was. I think there may have actually been an update...

Re: How to add oscillators instability (drift) to sub family

Yeah, the variance feature is pretty awesome. It's symmetrical so if Osc1 is +.02c then Osc2 is -.02c
It really does fatten up the sound. Each time a key is pressed new random offset values are generated.

Re: SUB-37 new user! Now i need a Delay!

I just got an Eventide Timefactor for my Sub and *love* it. The two delay times, MIDI sync capability, advanced mod/filter options, soo clear it really helps the Sub shine!

My 104m has been shifted to the minibrute and/or volca sampler now.

Well fudge. I bet their booth at NAMM will totally rule though.

I'm still holding out for a multiwerkstatten :P

Re: Biggest news in MOOG History coming Monday?

The werkStatt has demonstrated that they can make solid surface-mount analog equipment. Given that, a poly based on the werkstatt circuits seems reasonable. I'm hoping it's something to this effect as I'm not quite sold on the streichfett I've recently acquired. Eurorack would be awesome, but not 'hu...

Does anybody else have the issue when the invert button is toggled repeatedly sometimes it lands on the wrong octave when turned off?

Re: Moog to release modules this year

A set of eurorack modules would be a great move for Moog right now. With the sub37 they have the keyed synths in the bag. That just needs to be fine tuned and improved for years to come. Eurorack modules could offer a lot with many parameters addressable via 1/16th inch jacks for modular synth madne...

Could we agree though that if we had to choose between the sequencer upgrade vs the subphatty polychain we'd go with the sequencer update?

Re: Sub 37 beta tester request

I'd even love to do alpha testing too! I realize that there would be a slight probability of bricking, but I live a quick ride away in Chapel Hill. If the documentation was good and the risk was minimal an alpha version could go a long way.

Re: Sub 37 beta tester request

Hi Amos,

I would be love to be a beta tester for newer Sub37 firmware. If the changes are significant I would like some documentation of the implementation, expected features, known trouble areas, etc. I develop software, so I'm not a stranger to the process :)

Sub37 Sequencer update?

Has anybody heard of an ETA on when that big update to the step sequencer on the Sub37? I've heard that it will use the 16 preset LEDs/Buttons to allow for turning on or off or muting the selected step while playing. It could also be used as a way to select a particular step to edit after the sequen...
