Re: Some Voyager OS Questions

2. This seems obvious from the manual, but I read a post somewhere which seemed to contradict, so... When you assign, say, aftertouch to control the LFO depth, regardless of what the amount knob is set at, there should not be any modulation unless you actually trigger aftertouch, correct? Someone s...

Voyagers and OS - emblem in the middle or on the right?

Just asking for interest, it is actually completely unimportant  Why is the Voyager emblem (above the keyboard) in the middle on some devices, on others on the right ? Perhaps a matter of production batches? Or by accident? I'm just curious  Here on my OS it is in the middle... 20180124_1...

Here my Voyager OS with some fellows in my home studio:

PS: And I know, the speakers are too close to each other but there's no alternative at the moment ;)

Re: possible to add "key on" button to model D?

You could stick a knife between two keys to hold one down - LOL!

Seriously: You're right, I also often use the "gate on" switch on my Voyager, it's a helpful tool.

Re: Slim phatty vs Sub 37

I can confirm that there is a significant difference in the general sound character between the "Sub family" and the older Little and Slim Phatty. I've had first a Slim, later a Little Phatty and I really wanted to buy the Sub 37 when it arrived in the shops. Although the Sub 37 was/is a g...

Re: Faulty TI chips in Voyager Old School?

my serial no. is 0573.

Re: Faulty TI chips in Voyager Old School?

Hi guys, I'm also an owner of a Voyager OS, bought it second hand, in mint and full working condition. The previous owner said that the main board was already replaced, because of the well-known chip issue. My question: is it possible to clearly identify, if my OS actually has the "new" bo...

Re: Decision support: is the Voyager a reliable synthesizer?

Hi guys, as I'm the original starter of this thread, I just wanted to give you a short feedback, what happened in the meantime: I returned my new Voyager back to the dealer within the 30 days money-back period. Why? I wasn't happy with the user software/interface. I got the impression that the hardw...

Re: Share your synthesizer music!

A track referring to a very sad event... but I felt to express my feelings through the pure power of my "new" Voyager Old School here. Just a classical lead and bass sound. Put your headphones on and turn up the volume! https://soundcloud.com/spektralfarben/requiem-for-paris Thanks for lis...

Re: How to fix a key on a Voyager (OS)

If you could find the missing piece, perhaps you could just glue it back onto the key assembly? Thanks! I actually considered gluing the two (!) parts that I found back onto the key, but I discarded this idea: the parts are much too small, so that wouldn't have been fixed for more than 10 times usi...

Re: How to fix a key on a Voyager (OS)

Hi Andy, thanks for your quick answer! I already managed to make a diagnosis: this thin plastic part (that holds the key when releasing) at the underside of that key is broken (s. photos of an intact and the defective key). Because I am living in Germany I'll try first to get a spare key from the Ge...
