Re: Sub 37 Filter Cutoff: First Batch vs. Revised Batch

m10k wrote:The solution is simple and has already been stated. If your filter pot is faulty then contact Moog and they'll take care of it. If your filter pot is not faulty then don't contact Moog because there's no need to. Why is this so difficult for folks to understand?

I don't understand what you mean by this. 60 bad pots will lose half their business?

Re: Sub 37 Filter Cutoff: First Batch vs. Revised Batch

Let's be reasonable, folks. @Blackout, those are all through-hole pots throughout the board. They look to be rather standard Alpha brand sealed pots (these are high-quality pots--not chosen for their price!). Any decent technician can replace a faulty pot. In fact we love such uncomplicated repairs...

Re: Sub 37 Filter Cutoff: First Batch vs. Revised Batch

Thank you Moog for responding. Less than 0.9% of all Sub 37s have experienced a problem with the filter cutoff control. i dispute this figure, but regardless this is "so far"..over 600 synths!! have been returned with this problem...in less than 12 months of the synth being on the market....

Super happy I picked up one of these! I love companies that support their products properly after lau ch. You can tell Amos and the Moog team are proud and excited by this product.

Re: Sub 37 updated release date ?

I'm in Canada and just received mine today. :D I pre-ordered last month from Moog Audio in Montréal. I ordered mine 6 months ago, and you get it first? That's so bullshit... What kind of screwed up distribution is this? First delivery was supposed to be end of May, the August, last i saw it was end...

Re: Sub 37 updated release date ?

The Australian Moog distributor only go the Theremini about 3 months after it was released in US. I'm expecting the same sort of delay for Sub37. I very mush doubt, the fact I pre-ordered in the beginning of Feb would make any difference to Moogs priority for supplying distributors... Its not going...

Re: Sub 37 updated release date ?

My Canadian dealer has given me an end of October estimate. I pre-ordered in January also. I suspect Moog are doing the first bunch of batches domestically only. Perhaps it is to sort out any manufacturing glitches where defective units don't have to be shipped back from around the world?

Me too. I ordered just after the announcement.

But I waited 1.5 years for a PRS guitar once, so this isn't like that.... Yet. :)

Re: MF-104MSD?

Anyone know if the following only applies to the new super delay? Quote... The power supply, bias, and rail generating circuitry have all been improved for greater sound quality and reduced microphonics, and an Emphasis/De-Emphasis circuit has been added for reduced noise. Additionally, the delay-lo...
