Another option is to get an inline lamp switch from the local hardware store. Pretty easy to install. I've done a couple of synth power supplies that way.

Re: Phatty's dancing LEDs: ultimate guide intent
I had this problem on my Slim. I live in an old house with no 3rd prong ground wire, in a densely populated area, so plenty of noise on the AC I'm sure. Fortunately, it was still under warranty, and I returned it to Moog for repair. They did something (no idea what) which completely fixed the proble...

Wow, that is a cutoff of 1591 Hz. Pretty low, even for a 1 pole filter! Not surprising that it is audible. Is your photo a "before" shot, or did you decide you like it better with the capacitor back in place? Might be fun to make it switchable.

Glad it worked for you! Do you know what the value is of R62? I'm wondering what the intended cutoff frequency is.

Re: MF Drive cutting off all high frequencies
That definitely doesn't sound normal unless the knob settings are intentionally set that way. It seems like the filter cutoff is really low. Does moving the tone and filter controls fully clockwise do anything? Also, turn off the peak switch.

Wow, I've never heard a clav sound like that! Very cool.
It sounds like it might fit a movie scene where the protagonist was drugged, kidnapped and just woke up in the desert somewhere.

Re: latest firmware update messed up my phatty
For what it's worth, my Slim Phatty had the grounding issue, and the way it showed up was the knob settings would sporadically jump around without my touching them. I sent it back to Sweetwater, who sent it to Moog, and it's been perfect since the repair! I'm a DIY guy, so been tempted to to look in...

Werkstatt discontinued
Looks like the Werkstatt has been discontinued. Five years is a pretty good run for a product they weren't planning to actually market! I'm glad I picked up a couple to play with. They are a lot of fun!

Re: Latest USB F/W download link dead
Glad you were able to get going again! Yes, it is a good idea to stockpile these kind of files for your synths in case they vanish online someday. I had done the same, but I only have a Slim Phatty, so didn't have the right version for you.

It looks like Music Technologies Group has that file available for download for $10:

Not ideal, but at least you can get the file you need.

Re: Polychaining: The Phatt Bastard Project
Regarding the Slim Phatty possessed dial problem, I assume you are talking about dials randomly jumping around to different values. I had the same problem. I sent it back to the dealer, who sent it to Moog, who fixed it. It's been solid since then. If you have an authorized dealer or repair shop, pe...

Re: 104M Input/Drive Question/Problem
Well, this is probably too late to help the previous posters, but I happened to notice something in the updates for the MF-104M firmware upgrade v1.1.3 that may be related to these problems. It says in the "What's new" section: Improved range of LEVEL control. Level LED range adjusted to f...

Yes, I do believe that it was discontinued with the remaining Foogers. There are a ton of them out there in the secondhand market, however.

Looks great! The deep grain has a really classic look. I think some Alco-style knobs would be a good aesthetic fit with the case. The really small ones (and probably the next size up) won't cover up the text under the knob. https://synthcube.com/cart/knobs/knob-black-no-skirt-white-index-line-silver...

If you don't have a device that outputs CV, then I have no idea what you are trying to calibrate. Exactly what are you trying to accomplish?
