Re: Third Osc for Sub 37
i'm hoping that there will be a cv/gate output upgrade for the s37, like there is for the lp. (hey, those loopable envelopes are crying for cv outs, as is the touch-sensitive kb!) with a pitch cv output, you could simply use just any modular vco, without needing any additional midi/cv converter. Fr...

Re: Anyone else brick their Sub37 with firmware 1.0.2?
Hmmm, yeah, something's funky. I just re-downloaded and the main sysex is bigger than the panel sysex which is NOT true of the one I have at home :( according to MIDI-OX, here are the filesizes of the unzipped files: sub37_1_0_2_main.syx: 359740 Bytes sub37_1_0_2_panel.syx: 808617 Bytes (sub37_1_0_...

Re: Sub 37 Presets discussion - Acid Tracks preset - great j
I'd download it.jido-genshi wrote: I agree, the presets are pretty great! I was thinking of making a patch sheet for everyone today if no one else was going to do it; I think some people will find it handy, yes?

Re: Third Osc for Sub 37
I'm curious what kind of results can be produced if running the Sub 37 in paraphonic mode when poly chained to the Sub P. Yeah, me too. I think we'll have to wait for updates to both the Sub P and the 37, but it should be interesting. And it is as you said: hook midi to another synth, send that syn...

Re: Third Osc for Sub 37
That's what polychaining is for and is supposed to be added in a later firmware. I look forward to polychaining my Slim Phatty to my Sub 37. I'm sure that's going to be super beefy

Re: Sub 37 updated release date ?
it doesn't matter that it is not a multibillion company like samsung, etc.! there's nothing to justify that initial shipping date announcement of May and then postponing slowly every single month for 5 months, I'm sorry but this is a mockery already! I don't care if this is a marketing trick in ord...

Re: Sub 37 - Questions
So, has anyone else experienced any bugs yet? I have one major, 80% crash when I call up the patch "Boom Bah" (bank 3, patch 13). Almost every time I go to it, it plays one single note continuously and all the lights light up and you can't do anything at all; can't play other notes, can't...

Re: Sub 37 - Questions
When a change is made to the Sub 37 the display indicates a change has been made with the letter "E". On my Voyager if a change is made you can see the original value and the altered value so you know how to get back to the original value. Is there an option to turn this on with the Sub 3...

Re: Sub 37 - Questions
I'd much rather be able to load the "patch" location via the panel and then go to the sysex menu and choose to receive a patch to the current location. That gets tricky when there can be anywhere between 1 & 256 presets being dumped at once. There is only one Edit Buffer (like pretty ...

Re: Sub 37 - Questions
1. How do you send a preset to the Sub 37? I can export individual presets via the sysex menu, but I do not see a receive option. The Sub 37 automatically recieves SysEx files that contain the Moog and Sub 37 IDs. The *crucial* thing to know is that, when you load a SysEx file that was made via CUR...

Re: Gap on the left side of the control panel
Yep, mine has the same gap :-/ https://www.dropbox.com/s/79714wml9jq96 ... 629741.JPG
It does look like the panel is just a tad too narrow.

Re: Sub 37 - Questions
I have a question. How do you initialize a patch? That's the first thing I want to do before I listen to any presets. I want to take it right back to 1 raw osc and work out how it flows from there. I'm sure it will be a really easy process but without a manual it may not be obvious. I don't want to...

Hmm, I was messing with a drone earlier and it sounded to me like it was introducing artifacts that 16' was not.
