Re: Custom Build: Looking for pictures of Wilkinson install
I want to clarify as there are no replies yet. I'm not looking to build a replica of a Moog guitar - I am building an actual Moog guitar from what appears to be an unfinished Moog neck and body (ostensibly, built by Zion guitars). I won the parts in an online auction and have no other ideas as to ho...

Custom Build: Looking for pictures of Wilkinson install
Hi All,
Looking to see if someone would be so kind as to either provide or point me to pictures of the Wilkinson bridge install, specifically, from the control cavity. The springs do not install as conventional tremolos do and am looking to replicate what Moog did.
Thanks in advance,
BT

Re: Slim/Little Phatty Editor - Free Version
Michael, I believe the LP editor is made by an independent company, Soundtower, so it's not Moog's decision to make it freely available. Coincidentally, the Prophet-6 editor is sold by Sound Tower and costs the exact same. So that makes sense. I'm in the camp of releasing it for free although that ...

Re: 19" mounting
I didn't take mine apart but I think the whole point is that the module fastens on the front panel to the proposed euro-sized rails. AFAIK, there is no fastening point on the sides where typical rack ears would attach - this is would be consistent with every single other euro module I own or have ev...

Re: Assign Out, Sequencer Clock, and Ratcheted Steps Issue
Just updating - seems like this is a bug that only affects higher ratchet values. They are addressing it now. Their customer support continues to impress me!

Re: A big suggestion I hope Moog will consider...
Why not just make your own patchbay? Take an aluminum panel or project box and drill 8-10 holes for 1/8" jacks. Drill the same number of holes for 1/4" jacks. Solder the tips and grounds together for each jack pair. This would cost about the same as 8-10 specialized cables but would be a f...

Re: A big suggestion I hope Moog will consider...
Was going to say - for about $60 I could get all the cables I would possibly need. Sounds a lot cheaper than buying a new synth just for bigger jacks.jmcecil wrote:I just bought 5 1/8 to 1/4 cables. Works fine.

Assign Out, Sequencer Clock, and Ratcheted Steps Issue
I'm having an issue with the clock output (option 2 in setup mode) will not output a clock trigger on the ratcheted step. Is anyone else seeing this?

Re: MIDI Issue: Continuous CCs not working in Ableton
Hmmm - I'll check this when I get home. I suppose an easy way to tell would be to tell the Sub37 to stop receiving Sysex messages. However, the Minitaur worked with default settings right away.

MIDI Issue: Continuous CCs not working in Ableton
Hi all, I hope this hasn't already been discussed but I'm having an issue with sending parameter changes to the Sub37. I have an rack device dedicated to the Sub37 in Ableton and have assigned the Macro controllers to various things on the Sub37 panel. The issue is that the changes are not processed...

Sorry if this was covered in another thread....
Just got an email from Humbucker Music as part of their "Moog Club" that stated:

Wonder what it could be...?

Recommend a USB Hub - silly I know...
Hi All, Pretty much what the subject states. I've read some about people having problems routing MIDI through some USB hubs. Looking to add some ports to my Mac Mini with USB 3.0. At least 4 ports are needed (considering I'm giving up 1 port for the hub itself). I have 3 Moog Synths (Sub 37, Minitau...

Re: Minitaur Editor - Hardware Disconnected
I am having a similar issue - I am sometimes able to get the software to connect but the communication is only 1-way (the knob settings on the minitaur are reflected on my screen but changes I make in the software do not translate back to the machine). Also, this is inconsistent at best and requires...
