MP 201. 14volts, not 12. Damage?

Good evening. I am considering buying an MP 201 which has a non-original power supply. The power supply is supposed to be a 12 volt AC unit. The manual specifies it as 500mA, whilst the item pictured as a replacement on Moog’s site is 600mA. , still 12 volts AC. The power supply which comes with the...

E.G.s - a problem with the attack / decay functions.

Hello there, I have a problem with my Voyager XL and it concerns the envelope generators. The problem is, so far as I can tell, identical for both E.G.s but I’ll describe it for the volume E.G. The attack knob makes no difference to the sound. The screen shows a changing value – so you still get the...

Re: Reloading System 3.6 on Voyager XL

The link above, for OS 3.6, is now dead. Could anyone please tell me where I might get this now.

Thanks in advance.

Feeding a negative CV to moogerfoogers

Hello there - OK, so I posted this in the minifooger forum by accident, but now it's where it belongs! I would like to use the LFO on my XL to feed CVto my 'foogers but the 'fooger manuals all state that they accept CV between 0 and 5 volts. Well, it's possible, of course, to use the attenuator sect...

Re: XL LFO 2 rate modulation question.

Ahh...thanks. Captain - that was a very useful read and Latigid - I think that the second graphic shows what's going on very nicely. I'm curious as to why you say that LFO1 would be 2.5 to -2.5. Could it not be +5 to -5? Sorry if that's a stupid point or demonstrates that I haven't studied the manua...

Re: XL LFO 2 rate modulation question.

Hello again - thanks for the response. The manual seems to ignore that particular aspect of LFO2 entirely. I've only done a quick search on the PDF version, but going by that - nothing. So - if I understand you correctly - using LFO 1 to modulate the speed of LFO 2 would be a bad idea, as the negati...

XL LFO 2 rate modulation question.

Hello there. It's my first full day with my new instrument, so please forgive my ignorance. I think I'm right in saying that you can't slow down the rate of LFO 2 with an input into the Rate CV jack. So anything going into that jack will change the rate above, but never below, the panel setting. See...

Re: UK based. Warranty question re .Thomann purchase.

Hello again, and thanks very much for all the contributions. Radioland - that was a really generous offer of good, practical assistance, cheers. I decided that the way to go would be contacting the distributors in Britain and asking if they had one in stock and if they did then I could safely buy fr...

UK based. Warranty question re .Thomann purchase.

Hello there and, as this is my first post here, the best regards to you all. My situation is that I live the U.K. and I am thinking of buying a Voyager XL from Thomann in Germany. The shop offers a three year warranty as I understand it. Which is good, obviously, but I'm concerned about establishing...
