197x Minimoog Serial 5128
I have a 197x Minimoog serial 5128 mostly working for sale. (As well as the '67 R.A. Moog Modular 1019). 197x Minimoog in mostly working condition. (We do not know what year it was manufactured) New Osc Board #10175 appears on a white sticker (see photo) Plays but some keys randomly trigger either G...

Re: 1967 R.A. Moog Modular # 1019 for sale !!
I represent the owner of the '67 R.A. Moog. Since you already posted my offering I'll just leave it as is. :) Any questions feel free to contact me directly through the 1019's website http://www.compago.net/music/moog/ws/index.html Here's a new photo just for Moog Music Forums! http://www.compago.ne...

Re: Micky Dolenz Moog
lol I never wrote the 1019 was "the" most valuable MM, I asked if it would be in the top ten or top five of the "early era" up to 1967. It represents a lot of firsts to be sure. Does anyone have any photos of any other 1967 systems?? Is there a record of ANY pre-1970 Moog modular...

Re: Micky Dolenz Moog
I appreciate everyone’s positive comments and helpful input. Currently: I am meeting the owner soon and will shoot some macro images of whatever exposed inner modules I can. CK - Thanks for the great technical information! At best I can determine the Canadian to USD exchange rate in 1976 was about 1...

Re: Micky Dolenz Moog
There are $ signs at the top of each price section indicating USD. Not sure what the small "e" is to the right of the numbers but I'd guess this price list is USD and the footer reads Suggested Retail Price. What do you think a single 901-B would sell for today? all three 904s? Are there a...

Re: Micky Dolenz Moog
Does anyone have any 1967 / 68 / 69 Moog Modular price lists? All I could find is this one from 1976 (?) Using those individual module prices, adjusted for 2013 inflation.. this unit is well over $100k just on retail price alone. Are there any other 1960's R.A. Moog modulars available for sale? 1976...

Re: Micky Dolenz Moog
I have not seen the keyboard as (I wrote this earlier) the owner does not have physical possession of it but he "knows where it is" and is somewhat reserved regarding any details. I just don't know any more than that. I am merely the humble broker (analog synth geek!) of this fantastic Moo...

Re: Micky Dolenz Moog
It's doesn't look like Paul McCartney, I have this image (albeit a smaller version) and I thought it might be Paul Beaver who sold the Moog to Micky, but I can't confirm.
The image is reversed as the Moog is backwards or rotated 180 deg horizontal lol

- CZ Rider thanks for that! I think this LA Times article is the original source? http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/music_blog/2009/09/micky-dolenz-moog-synth-from-john-lennon-to-bobby-sherman.html John Lennon playing it for four hours.. we're officially over the moon at this point. Re: Micky Dolenz Moog
In the words of Spock, "Fascinating". The mystery builds. What's remarkable about this Moog is that it keeps getting more and more interesting at every turn. We also have an early Minimoog, does anyone know anything about their seemingly vague serial numbering? Pretty sure ours is a 1970 b...

Re: Micky Dolenz Moog
Apparently we cannot add images as "the board / forums quota has been reached" - Help me ID these hand made markings, a sideways "S" with a line through it - maybe an electrical engineering symbol? they appear on some of the module faceplates in the corners, randomly: http://comp...
