Dealing with this exact same issue.
Did you solve it?

With Adv/Clock sequencing I get sound.
With Run/Stop, the sequencer runs and stops as it should but sound is generated.

When I manually trigger the the 'trigger' knob I do hear sound....

I am also trying my best to find out how you can have a sequence running from my daw (ableton) without the M32 sequencer interfering... with no success unfotunately. Is there anyone how knows how to let you play the mother 32 from a daw so that the sequencer does not start running? Any help or addit...

At last, all seems to be solved. I had an Ableton 32 bit version and after losing all hope with the editor I installed an ableton 64 bit version while using the 64 bit version of the editor. So if your having similar problems, my 32 bit editor didn't work at all.... try it on the 64 bit version of A...
