p.s.
You won't need a MIDI cable. This is an audio routing issue, not MIDI related.

Re: 2 x Mother 32 and Ableton
Hi,
Sounds like you have the RME's input set up as a stereo pair in Ableton.
Check your settings in input configuration and check that you have "1 (Mono) & 2 (Mono)" selected.
good luck

Mother-32 Tempo issue
Hi :) I have an issue where the Tempo changes from a quarter note tempo to a whole note tempo whenever I Initialize a pattern (shift + reset/accent + Pattern (bank)) I'm using a Roland 606 as the external tempo source (using the HiTom Trigger Out) patched into the Mult In on the M32 then Mult1 Out i...

Happy ending. I ordered a new inverter, installed it and the backlights are working again.

Re: Select Series Backlight
Not yet Stephen, but I've messaged the Aust. service centre. They are the other side of the country so I'd like to avoid having to send it away. There are techs locally who could have a look.

Re: Stuck sound When plugging Phones
There is a new bug that strengthens this thought: The front lights are going on and off without a reason or pattern. here is the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uKEBambcfBs I have a similar situation, although the rate at which the lights go on and off is not as constant as in you video. The ...

Re: Select Series Backlight
Thanks for clarifying the EL as opposed to CLF/LED backlight technology- that makes sense. I'm not sure if it is at the end of its useful life as when the backlight does light up it is still quite strong and dims on and off as would be expected. My understanding is that the EL panel will eventually ...

Re: Select Series Backlight
Hi again, I've finally had the chance to look into this some more and get some time playing! Opened it up to look at the inverter and it was in the 'on' position. Noticed it was a three way switch with 'off' and 'flash' positions. None of the positions seem to keep the backlight on permantly,. Curre...

Re: Select Series Backlight
Thanks guys. The backlight was on and working while it was demo'd before purchase. After bringing it home and turning it on the backlight didn't come back on (only the mod and pitch wheel). The seller said that the backlight has always taken a while to warm up. So far after leaving it on for a while...

Re: Select Series Backlight
Thanks for your reply; on my EB it comes on immediately. That is what I would have expected. I've just bought one (second hand) and by all accounts it is it perfect condition. Backlight was working when demo'd but since bringing it home they have stopped, during transit it was boxed and traveled smo...

Select Series Backlight
Quick question- on a Select Series Voyager, should the backlight come on straight way or does it need to "warm up". If so, how long does this normally take?
Has anyone had issues with the backlight failing?

Purchasing a 2nd Hand Voyager
New here, greetings all!
I am considering buying a 2nd hand Voyager and was wondering what are the best checks to go over in terms of finding potential faults or issues with the synth?
Are there certain things that are prone to failure that are easy to overlook?
Thanks
I.C.
