How to disassemble a slim phatty
Hi, I bought a second hand Slim Phatty and it works great... but the the side metal panels are somekind bent (perhaps the previous owner hit something) and I would like to flatten them out. To do this I have to remove the front panel (side panels are simply a bent of the front panel) and I'm asking ...

Re: Sub Phatty extension keyboard
I think that an add on with all the "hidden" features on knobbed box connected to the Sub Phatty via a pass-through usb could be really interesting. I hate remembering or reading on the manual the "shifted function".

Re: brightness knob "problem" on rme
No, it's not normal at all. If you twist the knob at maximun it must be bright like hell.
I never used it at values more than "half" twist.

Re: Osc 1 not working
1) how do you fixed OSC 1 ? 2) Are you saying that if you set EG AMOUNT to +5 and set both AMP ATTACK and FILTER ATTACK to 0 (zero) you hear a slow attack ? or are you experiencing a "delay" before the sound start with fast attack ? remember that there is a hidden DELAY parameter, check wi...

Re: Sub Phatty keyboard assembly issue
Handmade means quality. But keyboards are thirdy part object, you have only to put the whole keyboard in the keybed nothing more. Bad keyboards are from source, so my complain is about the keyboard not about the Sub Phatty synth in itself. In the shop the Sub Phatty with it's weird keyboard sits nea...

Re: Sub Phatty keyboard assembly issue
The first was ser. 19XX (I don't want to point out the full serial) and the keyboard was ugly and the wheels touches the side borders turning them more then 50% (disaligned), than a 24XX the keyboard was better while still not aligned at all and with a center "wave", than another Sub Phatt...

Re: Osc 1 not working
I have a similar problem with the EG Amount which seems linked togheter with the attack POT so when I move the EG Amount the attack POT goes to slower value. Try tris using the stand alone editor, look it while you are moving the POT and check in the editor if Something else is moving too (volume PO...

Re: Sub Phatty: envelope bug ?
Yes, but I made all the possibile test. The error occour with midi, with USB, with both and without any connection at all. It's easy to catch it by ear, when you move the EG Amp the attach change to slow even if it was previously setted to zero. I tried uploading the new firmware again (the firmware...

Re: Sub Phatty: envelope bug ?
It seems my SP is not working properly. I checked again using the editor and midi-ox and the problem is that my EG AMOUNT pot moves (sending the midi cc too) the AMP ATTACK too (it's like they're chained togheter). All the other knobs seems to work both in stand alone and in the editor. Using the ed...

Sub Phatty: envelope bug ?
Something weird is happening with my Sub Phatty updated to last firmware. Starting from scratch I can't make a fast snapping attack sound. So I picked up a very fast attack preset from the librarian (HS_MiniDanceChor) and it sounds amazing fast BUT simply touching something on the panel (volume too)...

Sub Phatty keyboard assembly issue
Hi to everybody, one month ago I bought a brand new Moog Sub Phatty. At home after unboxing I found a weird issue with the keyboard and wheels assemby. The keyboard had all the keys not aligned in height like an overused old vintage synth and looking the synth from the keyboard line the whole keyboa...
