Is it legal to sample Moog Synth and sell it?
Hi there, I have a Moog Sub Phatty and want to release a CD full of bass samples and bass loops. I have a couple of questions regarding this, and am hoping the forum members, and perhaps someone from Moog, can help me get this cleared up. 1) Am I allowed to sample a Moog synthesizer, and then sell t...

Re: Sub Phatty extension keyboard
I love the sub phatty's small design. Perfect for people who already own a big keyboard and lack the space, yet have the ability to play the sp on its own.

This is driving me crazy too. I wish there was a fix out there for this.

Re: Unexpected Bonus to Getting SubPhatty
I am very close to buying the Diva. She's a great synth & u-he is a company I support. Just need a faster computer for that CPU drain!barryfell wrote:A related unexpected bonus was that the filter knob on the SubP auto-maps to the filter on U-he Diva.

Unexpected Bonus to Getting SubPhatty
I mean, I love the actual sound that the Sub Phatty makes... Don't get me wrong... But silly me... I've discovered something so amazing about this machine. I'm basically using it as a controller for other virtual synths, such as Sylenth. It's has opened a whole new world of opportunities to me. I ju...

Re: Sub Phatty AU has horrible timing within Logic X Pro
I use a combo of 1 midi track (this gets all the notes and automation) and one audio track with the moog software instantiated. This seems to work fine for me.

Re: A BIG HAND OF APPLAUSE!!!
Yeah... he's been very helpful. Congrats to Amos. You have a fan club. :) And aside from my personal ignorance (I am so unfamiliar with analogue synths that I am experiencing a bit of frustration due to that fact) I am finding the Sub Phatty a wonderful machine. The design & layout of it is simp...

Can you explain exactly what you did from A-Z in connecting your Sub Phatty to the computer? There could have been a step you missed.

Re: SubPhatty Patch Mysteriously Changes Sound
I am using Logic. Well, I figured out exactly what is causing this through some basic troubleshooting. Basically I will have the MIDI track armed into record. If I press the red "R" and disarm it, then rearm it by pressing the red "R" again, the patch changes. However, if I do no...

Re: Sub Phatty: Out of tune issues
Thanks Sp00ge. I just tested out everything, and have come to the conclusion, I am just ... dumb. Haha. It's tuned just fine. What I just did now was instantiate a virtual synth and played my MIDI keyboard (scales) all the way up and down and the moog played at the same time as the VI. It sounded pr...

SubPhatty Patch Mysteriously Changes Sound
Hi there. Have any of you had the following problem? And how did you deal with it? I had my song playing in Logic in a loop, and I had loaded up a preset which I started to alter. Once it was altered to my satisfaction, and sounded really good, I decided it's time to record it. When I went to record...

Re: Sub Phatty: Out of tune issues
Yeah, the fine tune knob is still centered. My keyboard doesn't seem to be transposed. But I think I may have had pitch amt set to something over 0 and had my mod wheel up. I think I better give the manual a re-read... I mean, these are basics, but I guess I just didn't understand what pitch amt was...

Sub Phatty: Out of tune issues - fixed
Hi everyone. Apologies for a 'newb' post but I'm quite new to analogue synthesis. My SubPhatty is working Just fine I'm sure. But recently I'm having troubles with the tuning. When I compose music with the Sub Phatty I have found that often other instruments will sound out of tune with it. Since I t...

Re: LP and Logic - How to deal with astray MIDI commands?
I am getting the problem where Oscillator 1 mutes a track and LFO rate solos a track. This is getting extremely annoying and is messing up my work flow. Is there any fix to this? I am totally beyond uninterested in controlling solo and mute with MIDI. Can I just turn this off in Logic somehow?
