Sadly not. The only sync function is from the other oscillators for traditional sync timbres.

Re: Matriarch - staccato playing in paraphonic modes
Let me play short notes please :D I don't think anyone from Moog actually reads this forum. Which is a shame. Therefore, it will be worth e-mailing them. However, I have found that only about half of my e-mails are actually replied to, so you may have to keep trying. I'm also still waiting for the ...

Re: Matriarch - chorus patch with delay
Well, I finally got around to installing the 1.3.0 firmware patch. AND, the delay time1/time2 inputs are still entirely worthless. Iām very disappointed. IMO ā the Matriarch delay remains intensely dark, bland, and featureless. The Matriarch delay circuit has two features that stop it being a good ...

Re: Matriarch - staccato playing in paraphonic modes
Not because I've got hope... Supposedly there's a new firmware update coming very shortly. And it'll fix the rear facing CV outputs not responding to midi too. But, yeah, I'll not be holding my breath until it arrives. Which reminds me, I must badger them about the filter tracking not working prope...

Re: Orig Model D oscillator drifts up when attached to CV
is it a known issue for original Model Ds to have their oscillator raise in pitch slowly when attached to CV? Yes. This is because the external CV adds to the voltage coming out of the keyboard circuitry. The keyboard voltage is stored in a simple capacitor the moment you stop pressing the key down...

Re: Anyone know which keybed is used on the Matriarch?
does anyone know what keybed is in the Matriarch and if there is a controller that uses that keybed? I reckon it's a Fatar TP9/S. The old Novation Remote SL mk1 and mk2 had these. The current mk3 doesn't which is a shame. Bear in mind aftertouch sensitivity will depend on the processing circuitry a...

Re: CV and gate out of Matriarch from DAW MIDI?
Sadly not. And it's really annoying.LemfGently wrote: āFri Aug 19, 2022 6:12 amIs it possible to have the Matriarch send all the CV from the MIDI output of my DAW?
I suggest you write to Moog via their website support page. If enough people ask for this feature they may implement it in the next firmware update. At least we can hope.

Re: Matriarch Filter Open, Audio missing top end
Any cable routings that can brighten it up a bit? If you use the eurorack output on the back instead of the main audio output the signal will be brighter. You'll not have a volume control though. The loss of brightness comes from several parts of the Matriarch's circuitry. The key loss of high freq...

Re: Matriarch, rising resonance - issue?
Sorry no, I of course meant when sustain is at 100% - hence the behaviour being unusual. It is rare for an analogue ADSR to have the levels of the attack peak and 100% sustain to be exactly the same. There is often a small discrepancy between the point at which decay starts and ends. One work aroun...

... but some kind of state of the union on further matriarch plans if any would be aces. I don't think anyone from Moog visits here that often. It's best if you want something in particular to be looked at to contact Moog directly via their support page. The more people that request that something ...

Re: Matriarch envelopes
Is it a bug or just behavior of these env ? I think it's just the behaviour of these envelopes. The Matriarch uses a lot of the circuitry from the original Moog Modular and this supposedly includes the Moog 911 Envelope Generators. These were built using individual components and not the integrated...

Re: New Matriarch owner with an unusual request.
What I mean is that whatever note I'm playing, it's lower than other synths by around 5 dB starting at around 70 hz. It could be that some of the other instruments have some sort of bass boost. The Matriarch's bass should be pretty solid. One quick way to test this, just in case yours has a fault, ...

Re: New Matriarch owner with an unusual request.
On both of those the subs under around 70hz were around 5dB higher than the Matriarch, which would explain why it sounds less "fat" in the sub region. On the analyzer you can see that the saw wav levels off at around 70hz with the Matriarch. I'm a little puzzled by your results. How have ...

Re: Matriarch envelopes
it should kill the Sound from release and start slow What you are asking for is a 'return to zero' (RTZ) envelope. Analogue envelopes don't generally do this. And this is a good thing as sudden changes in output volume (eg. at the point of reset in a RTZ envelope) will cause a noticeable click as t...

Re: Matriarch - staccato playing in paraphonic modes
I assume it's always been so. We may be discussing different things but the time lag on note release in paraphonic mode was not present in firmware 1.1.0. Notes are heard as they are played in 1.1.0. It was only in 1.2.x that the problem is present. Each of the four Matriarch VCOs have their own VC...
