Re: change the battery in minifooger delay
So to change the battery do you really have to take off the entire back of the unit? Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see another option. Peter Hannan yep. that's how a lot of pedals work. probably the most common way. it means less parts in the build and keeps costs down. not a big deal to...

Re: Sub 37 updated release date: November ?
I work for a dealer. We were under the impression when we ordered that they would show up early summer. i guess i need to check in on it. I will see what i can find out next week. that's certainly a long lead time. i wonder if they just got too many pre-orders, or if there is a problem with producti...

Re: Turning the Sub Phatty LFO rate to 8
good question. i wonder if they meant 8 of 10 (just weren't thinking of how it is labeled when they wrote it). or if they really mean 8 as it labeled. I can't quite think of where you are looking in the manual right now. what effect are they trying to achieve?

Re: MF Drive filter versus ladder filter in Moog synths
there isn't really a clean setting that will do that. it won't do the exact same type of wah as the filter, but it does a REALLY cool fuzz/drive-wah thing. it's the best feature of the pedal!

Re: Where Can I Download The Sub Phatty Editor Software?
I don't understand why the manual, firmware and cheat sheet are publicly available from the downloads tab on the Moog website , but the Sub Phatty Editor software is not. Since the editor can only be used when you have a Sub Phatty, why not make it publicly available? I can totally imagine visiting...

Exp Pedal Options?
an idea for the next generation of minifooogers....... Ihave the MF Ring. I have spent some time playing with the Drive. I really like both. I REALLY like the flexibility that the expression pedal adds. it would be nice to have a little bit more though. Unfortunately, i know that it would increase t...

where did you get it? quite often a lack of serial number on an instrument means it's stolen.

Re: Update failure of firmware
The documentation could be a lot clearer on this point. People who downloaded the zip with version 1.0.3 of the editor and firmware 2.0.1 are likely to just follow the instructions as written in the documentation, but apparently they should skip some steps. I've updated my Sub Phatty Editor to 1.1....

Re: What is the max CV the voyager can handle?
This is probably a time to call Moog Tech support to get the real answer. They state 5V as the answer, but that could be for many reasons. I would suspect they overbuilt the unit to be able to handle more though. if for nothing else than safety. you might only drive 80, but your tires can handle mor...

Re: The physical keyboard and aftertouch
I have. I don't think they are made differently though. the white keys are longer so the different angle makes them feel like less pressure. the shorter black keys feel like they need more due to the shorter throw. so, on paper, the spec is the same for the trigger. of course, being aware of this ge...

Re: Sub Librarian/ Editor with Windows 8
I also have to add that Win8 is GREAT for the editor. I have a touchscreen laptop with it. It's really nice to be able to turn knobs on the screen. it makes it feel much more like actually touching the synth itself rather than using a mouse to control things. I strongly suggest it.

Re: Sub Librarian/ Editor with Windows 8
OK, I found it! Maybe Amos could get this added to the next Readme so people in the future won't have to search so hard. for windows 8.1 the destination to move the Beta Team file is: >This PC > OS(C:) > Users > (User name) > AppData > Roaming > Moog Music Inc > Sub Phatty > Presets Library

Re: Sub Librarian/ Editor with Windows 8
I'm running it on Windows 8 64 bit without any problems. thank you! I am new to windows 8. The first step in the ReadMe for the Sub is to move the files for the presets. i don't seem to be able to find the destination folder. maybe it's just me not being smart enough or familiar enough with windows...

Re: Sub Librarian/ Editor with Windows 8
none? one issue i see is that the presets from the developers aren't available. i followed the instructions to show in explorer. now, i haven't had a chance to hook the synth up yet. will they show up once i do? or should i be able to find them without the Sub hooked up? Amos?
