It doesn't make any damn sense.

You may find yourself wanting an expansion cabinet to go with it. Perhaps an 8u cabinet for extras like a sequencer, filters, or another vca. Or a Kenton Pro-2000 for Midi-CV Conversion.

Make sure that your cables are not the problem also if you can't get the envelopes to fire.

The 921s seem to sound better to me. There really aren't a lot of videos of the modulars, especially the reissues. There is a lot of lore and mystery driving the discussions about which series is better and why.

From a purely sound and tone standpoint (i.e. ignoring interface, immediacy, portability, etc), can any owners of both a Model D and 901 or 921-based system comment on the similarities?
