Re: Minitaur: Noise overlaps sound and fades away as the sound fades away

I've had this happen when using a TRS cable instead of a TS cable somewhere in the minitaur path.

Do you hear the noise when plugging headphones directly into the headphone jack?

Re: Minitaur Longevity

Even if the moog editor ceases to be updated, there are a few Max 4 Live devices that replicate it's functionality. The only thing I'd be a little bummed about is if the Librarian stopped functioning. It's a little tricky managing patches w/ out it.

Re: Who makes the Software Editor for the Minitaur?

We are working really hard these days to finish the new firmware and editor for the Minitaur which fixes almost everything and adds a lot of new features! i really hope so. Minitaur is a great sounding product (pitch range limitation notwithstanding) - but on the software side of things...tremendou...

Minitaur Editor

Hi, wondering if anyone has any news on the Minitaur Editor development front? Don't care about any new features or any of that, just wondering if there's any chance the preset editor will be finished and if Version 3.1 will be released?

Re: Deep Sine ala Minimoog help

you can do this a couple dif ways if using the oscillators, you'll have to close the filter down to 60-80hz. turn the resonance up pretty high, this creates a BUMP in the bass freqs. adjust envelope to taste. you'll need a lot of gain from your mixer as well. i know it seems counter intuitive, usual...

Re: Minitaur Filter Cutoff slowly declining on it's own?

This happens to me randomly as well - I think is just a sign of the filter pot going bad, will eventually need to send it to Moog to replace it.

problem has gotten worse, now can take 30 minutes to boot, if it boots at all.

check out video for what happens:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5unhz_QRKvY&app=desktop

waiting on new power supply and a word from moog.

if not, i haven't heard anything from moog tech support, it's been over a week since i email them.

Re: any news on the new minatuar firmware & editor

Feature request for new FW/Editor version: Please allow for Modulation of LFO rate, via Env. Thank you! :D what kind of effect would this have? like an lfo that starts slow and ramps up in speed and vice versa? would be awesome. latest beta has control over lfo waveform using envelope. great for pi...

Minitaur takes 5 minutes to BOOT/turn on!

So all the sudden my minitaur (beta firmware version 2.1.7) started doing the STRANGEST thing. When I power it up in the morning (from a cold start) nothing happens at first (apparently). But then, as the synth warms up, all the LEDS (and i mean all of them) start blinking, slowly and dimly at first...

Re: Dancing Filter Knob

thats good advice. might be too late in my case, but since the minitaur can accept midi CC to control virtually any parameter (save for some of the new ones in the the newest firmware...amos for some reason won't tell me what CC#'s to use to control them ;) I can just set my MPC sliders to control c...
