Hey, thanks for posting this link.
I have already done the job with rubbing alcohol. It took away all the sticky rubber layer. The result is a glossy look instead of the rubber matte.
Cheers
Jim

Re: Slim Phatty Editor Librarian
Hello, Well I have the VST editor and it's kind of complicated to "wire", needing virtual cables and a bit of setup. Not too hard but not easy. Having a VST plugin allows for automations in you DAW software and it's definitely a more "embedded" experience than having just a libra...

Re: Etherwave pitch calibration drift
Sorry for getting back so late, I haven't been visiting the forum for months!
I will try letting it "sit" for half an hour before testing again. I will report back.
Thank you
Jim

Etherwave pitch calibration drift
Hello,
Every time I tune my theremin and play, after a while (about 10 minutes) the tuning has drifted, expanding the field. To fix, I have to slightly rotate (maybe just move half a mm) the pitch knob to compress the space again.
Any ideas?
Regards,
Jim

Re: Little phatty stage 2 modulation wheel sticky rubber
I have seen some resin sprays made for arts and crafts, I may just try a clear coat on it. Loads of products come up when I google for "clear coat spray".
When I do I will write back of course.

Re: Little phatty stage 2 modulation wheel sticky rubber
I just tried wintex + sharp knife and it seems that the sticky layer can be peeled off, probably to come back later in time. This material just dies, why do they keep using it? The strange thing is that the pitch bend wheel is fine. Maybe there could be a spray of some kind so that the material gets...

Little phatty stage 2 modulation wheel sticky rubber
Hello, I've seen a couple of posts regarding this matter but couldn't find a solution. My little phatty is 2 years old and I play it about once a week. I noticed that the modulation wheel kind of "melts" regarding its rubber feel. I have seen the same deterioration with other household dev...

Re: I wish that animoog can pass its presets to theremini
Also, theremini can output note/pitch through control voltage (CV)! What if we used a Qunexus keyboard(or something like it) that transforms CV to midi? By looking here http://files.keithmcmillen.com/downloads/qunexus/QuNexus_CV_Manual_1.0.pdf my guess is that you can connect the ipad to qunexus and...

Re: I wish that animoog can pass its presets to theremini
Oh, I see what you mean. You are right. You already know that you can control all CC midi messages from the two controllers of the Theremini (pitch and volume antennas). By default, theremini sends it's CC20 messages when you trigger the pitch antenna, and the CC2 message when you trigger the volume...

Re: I wish that animoog can pass its presets to theremini
You can do this via midi. I've done it easily.
Just turn on midi in (on the animoog) and you're done

Re: Can I get thicker sound on Theremini?
So you think it's a matter of applying a low pass filter on the output?
I could also feed the output to the little phatty and see how it goes from there. It's just that the sound seems so ... digital

Can I get thicker sound on Theremini?
I was watching Carolina on Theremin (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJACNHHuGp0) and I could notice how "thick" Etherwave sounds. I myself have only the Theremini but I'd love to get this organic thick sound on the Theremini. Is using effects the only way to this?

Re: Can I reverse the pitch antenna FAR-NEAR to HIGH-LOW pit
Well, Jim, in a manner of speaking, as they say, some sounds in the editor are animoog / Theremini based etc, im sure you see what waveforms that goes and so on. we who reply here, do try to help each other out. but i wont bother if you have an attitude. good luck /P No attitude at all Peter.
