Re: Subharmonicon - MIDI Issues
I'm attempting to send midi notes from a Digitakt to the Subharmonicon, but can't get the midi notes to play properly. The main problem I'm having... When a midi note ends, the pitch reverts back to the note set using the dials on the oscillators. It doesn't matter how long midi note is, once the n...

Re: Any other CV pitch correction device like Theremini's?
If you have a modular system, a quantizer will do what you are looking for, there are many available, it takes a smooth voltage in and quantizes it to a chosen scale.

Re: Werkstatt as 2nd oscillator for M32?
I had the same pitch problem using the Werkstatt and Mother 32 together. I suspect it is either the buffering issue many have experienced when trying to send pitch to various euro oscillators, OR a calibration issue with one of the synths, my guess would be werkstatt. Has anybody got this working wi...

Re: Mother-32 and Electribe 2
I haven't used the Electribe 2, so not sure the exact menu settings, but you need to turn off midi clock and/or transport send from the Electribe 2 in order to prevent the Mother 32 sequencer from starting up. Then you will be able to sequence them as you would any other midi synth.

Re: Disabling sequencer, is it possible?
I was experiencing this "issue" with the Octatrack, but simply turning off TRANSP send in the MIDI sync menu allows one to sequence the M32 from OT without starting the M32's sequencer.
Midi Clock send remains on.

Re: VCF AUD IN?
I tried the mod as outlined in the CV expander pdf: An optional jumper position (JMP1) is included on the CV Expander PCB to normal the VCO output to the VCF Audio Input. With this modification and nothing plugged into J6 (VCF Audio In) the VCF processes the VCO signal, but an external signal plugge...

midilifestyle wrote:The Korg SQ1 uses a Hz/octave standard whereas Moog gear uses a V/octave standard. To my knowledge these are incompatible unless you use additional cv gear to modify the signal
The SQ-1 can do both V/octave and Hz/octave, so make sure it is on the correct setting.

If you are happy with the audio you are getting from the iPad's built in output then I would suggest to keep it simple with this:

Replacement power supply
Pretty much says it, any recommendations on a replacement power supply for werkstatt?
I'd like to have another on hand.
Thanks.

Bigsby option. Budget model, sub $2k (sub$1.5k even better). Oil finish.
Or, sell the electronics as a kit for folks to rev up their own custom guitars.
