I got a super nice condition source about 4 years ago for $475. It is a shame how these things go up in value as they get even older and more unstable. People hear the name Moog and flip out. You don't need to pay $1200 for a 20+ year old synth when you could save a little more money and buy a new o...

I really can't wait to see what this new Moog is. I'm tired of reading this thread (though I can't stop). Anyway, I have owned 2 Sources and I never had a problem with them. I never operate more than one knob at a time either and found it to be as easy to operate as my Minimoogs. The only reason I s...

I can't imagine it would be VA or digital. It looks kinda like Raymond Scott's Circle Machine. Instead of a crank you have a knob to twist. That would be cool. http://raymondscott.com/circle.html
I am probably dead wrong but I should at least get creative points.

Pink Floyd used several different keyboards and synths on their records. They used the EMS VCS3 and Synthi A, Minimoog, Farfisa Orgran, Hammond Organ, Fender Rhodes piano and Steinway acoustic piano. I was writing this and decided to look it up online and found this. http://thinkfloyd.free.fr/disco/...

Ions sell lots because they are cheap not because they are better synths than the Moog. My money is on the Voyager lasting 30+ years while the Ion will most likely be a dead piece of crap in 5. $3000 for something that will last you a LONG time is really not that bad. Plus it sounds, looks, feels an...

The Etherwave Pro has CV outputs. You can use it to control CV inputs on the voyager or moogerfoogers or other compatible CV devices. Check out the manual here for more specific information about the topic. Go to page 15 when you download the manual. http://www.moogmusic.com/detail.php?product_manua...

Boeing 737-400, don't you already have a Voyager? Why would you purchase a classic Minimoog too? I currently own a Voyager and have owned 2 classic minis in the past. The Voyager covers all the ground of the classic minis as far as I'm concerned. I know this will probably open up a debate (I don't w...

cool. it's always hard to tell who's being a wise ass online. glad the advice was helpful. You don't need money for studio time. Find a guy with a computer and protools that wants to gain some more experience. There's probably someone out there willing to work for next to nothing to have some music ...

Do I detect a bit of sarcasm? It's always hard to tell via message boards. Either way, I was just trying to help you out so you avoid legal problems later on. My friends had a band named after an old airplane and were issued a very firm cease and desist letter from Lockheed Martin. It's always nice ...
