My New Voyager is from “The Bad Chip Era”

After waiting years to finally purchase a Voyager RME, I was unlucky enough to get one from the “bad chip era” serial #1844. It worked perfectly for the first week, then certain patches started dropping out, now it is pretty much in free fall with only oscillator #2 working. I was going through the ...

Re: Voyager Board Battery?

After wanting a Voyager for years, I finally made the necessary sacrifices to actually get my hands on one and midi it into my Hammond XK-5. I love it and have been enjoying probing it’s depths to the best of my limited abilities. After about a week of this fun, the Voyager has started dropping patc...

Re: No Wheels

Thanks for answering, I was afraid that this might be over my head and it certainly is. Good on you for sticking with it and finding a way to make it work.

No Wheels

I'm trying to weasel my way back into another Moog and one of the options is the rack mount version, my main axe is a Hammond XK-5 (A-3 style) which does not have pitch or mod wheels, is there any way to fake this?

True, but those minutes I am playing a Hammond, now there's a key bed!

My Next MOOG Move

I'm saving for another MOOG, in the past I had a Little Phatty, Slim Phatty, and a Sub37. I want to try a Subsequent37 but should have enough money to consider a used Voyager as well. Plus I hear rumors that MOOG might finally be coming out with a poly synth to be introduced at the NAMM show, if som...

Re: A Ghost in the Machine

Thanks, I will try the factory re-set. The only controller is the XK-1, midi'd to the Phatty.

A Ghost in the Machine

This is my first post and I was hoping to have it be a bit more logical but, oh well. I play a Hammond XK-1/System 21 in a loud, high energy rock band, and was having trouble cutting through our twin lead guitars. After a bit of research, I came up with the bright idea of adding a Slim Phatty to the...
