Re: Is Sub37 and Minitaur Moog overkill?

Hi, My first Moog was a Minitaur, which sounded so great I soon after picked up a Sub Phatty. When the Sub 37 came out I couldn't resist, thinking I may get rid of the Sub Phatty, but I decided to keep them all - the Minitaur does bass so well, it only takes a few minutes to come up with killer bass...

Re: Sub 37 - the best monosynth of all time?

I have both Sub Phatty and Sub 37. I would say save up for the Sub 37, it's a HUGE step up from the Sub Phatty. The extra knobs and buttons make it so much more accessible. The expanded modulation section, sequencer, expanded patch memory and more are also worth the extra money. Big thanks Bald Eag...

Re: Sub Phatty Editor v1.1 coming; question for Windows user

Hi Amos, i just got my Sub Phatty last week, and I cannot get either of the plugins to appear in my VST list (Windows 7 32 bit, SONAR X3 host). I have rescanned multiple times & double checked the folder locations, but SONAR keeps coming back with "no new plugins found". If you have an...

Re: Minitaur firmware update soon - your requests here pleas

Hi all, <snip> On the topic of preset handling, I have a suggestion for a new feature. Could we have a multi-key press from the hardware that will dump the current settings? In other words the equivalent of Command-C of the editor on the hardware itself. That way while we are writing in our sequenc...

Re: Minitaur firmware update soon - your requests here pleas

To Amos: FW request, just to remind you :^) Please implement a combination of CC data, by sending them we able to get the current state of the synth as a 'snapshot' of CC's (not as sysex), such as you did for the new SubPhatty FW. 10nx -- done :) Please explain how this works - if I am reading it c...

Re: Minitaur firmware update soon - your requests here pleas

I'm confused on the firmware updating procedure. The instructions given are: (to install, follow the same steps outlined in the REV2 update, sending this sysex file instead of the v2.0.0 one) However v2.0.0 is an .exe application so works in a different way. At what point/how do you send the v2.0.4...

Re: Minitaur firmware update soon - your requests here pleas

Hi, Just to add that the Minitaur does still "freeze" even after the last firmware update (2.0.4 30 April) - the interface becomes completely unresponsive. I have found it is better to just use the MIDI ports, and leave the USB unplugged, even though it does still occasionally freeze. I am...

Minitaur editor crashes with Runtime Error

Hi, I just received my shiny new Minitaur, but unfortunately am having trouble running the editor application. On both my Windows 7 & Windows 8 machines (32 bit) the application crashes with the error: Microsoft C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error! Program <path>Minitaur Editor.exe I have tried in...
