Re: Arp Odyssey - Now I Get It!

The Odyssey is a fun synth that fits in well with others in your collection, as said, it's another tool. I tend to keep mine on filter Mode 1 most of the time.

Enjoy

Re: Doepher Dark Time Step Sequencer vs Voyager

I am not near my Voyager or DT at the time but this should work.

Hook up the DT with cv out to pitch in on the voyager. Gate out to gate in in tge env section of the voyager.

In the midi menu turn local off. Midi out from the voyager to midi in on the DT.

Have fun.

Re: Newbie to Forum - Basic Question (I hope)

I have used the Dark Time with my Voyager's and Little Phatty with both MIDI or CV without any problems.

With CV in case you don't know you have to put the evelope swich in the lowet right side of the Voyager to external.

Have fun

Re: Doepfer Dark Time + Voyager Question

The Darktime works great with the Voyager. I have an early one, no problems. Remember you can also hook it up via MIDI. With CV though, take the gate out 1 And hook it up to gate in in the env section of the voyager. The Voyager dose not use s triggers so no conversion is needed. Take pitch one out ...

Re: connecting two mothers

Have fun Take the gate out from the first to gate in on the second, take KB out from the first to vco 1v/oct on the second. To go from KB out on the first to the second you may want to use a 12 inch patch cord, a six will reach but it is tight. The outs have the color background the ins are just pri...

:)
Tamron has several nice lens, own several of them. The Nikon 14-24 is slightly wider than the 15-30 but not enough to be a deal breaker.

Re: Naysayers be damned...I love the Prophet 6

Glad you are enjoying it. Dave makes great products, are they better than Moog ? No, diffetent. Is Moog better than they are, no different. Each has it's place. Love my Prophet 12 and 08, love my Moogs and other synths. Each brings a different charecter to the mix. Would it be nice to see a new Memo...

Re: Kind of Moog relat

The Opals are well worth the wait. You hear well into a mix, they alao reveal things in past mixes that coukd use adjustment, listening. To comercial CD's is many times a whole new expereince, many times they sound better. Synths through them also are a great expereince. One thing to watch they are ...

Re: Sequencer on the Mother-32

You're welcome. Both have their pluses. The 32 mire steps and more features for each step. Dark Time more immediate control but there are ways to change parameters on the fly with the 32.

Re: Sequencer on the Mother-32

Briefly, The Dopher Dark Time Step Sequencer ( Dark Energy is a Seperate Synth) has two rows of 8 steps. It con be set up as two independent 8 step sequences, each on a separate MIDI ch, or cv gate out. The second mode uses both rows two make a 16 step sequencer, each of the two rows can be transpos...
