Topic: Voyager Gig Bag or ATA Case?

I've transported mine in the gig bag without any problems. While it's not as protective as a hard shell case, it does offer some protection from light bumps :) . The main thing is it provides a fairly safe way to move it from home to the car, then into the location you are playing. The front pocket ...

For added fun, apply an LFO to the filter, square, saw... S/H, or modulate the filter with an osc...play and see what happens :)

99% of the time all of the synths go into a Mackie 1604vlz Pro, from there they are sent to monitors and the recorders. Once in awhile I will send them to a amp and mic it, but I’ll also record a direct signal to another track, depends on the sound you’re going for :D .

Still have a 3440 laying around the studio at home. Nice recorder, purchased mine in 1980. Record at 15ips for best results. Keep the heads clean and demagnetized. I used mine quite a bit up until 1996 when I bought a Roland VS880, now I’m using a VS2480. Still fun to use the “old gear” from time to...

I have MemoryMoogs and am very familiar with them :). I also have a Mini Model D and Two Signature Voyagers and a large percent of the sounds I use I've done my self. :). True the Memory is not six mini's, but it is like, or similar to six mini's, that's the point Moog was making in the advertisemen...

I think the MemoryMoog was in the $4,000 range when it was first released around 1981. Around 1983 it was upgraded to the MemoryMoog Plus( Midi and a simple sequencer) all "original" MemoryMoog's could be upgraded to a Plus. I think towards the end they sold in the $2,000 range. Great soun...

Yes you can use tje Motif as a controller, if the samples are in Akai or Yamaha format you can load them into the Motif( the older Motif has a SCSI port the ES has a USB), or if you have enough ram "sample" the .wav files in and map them to the keyboard, then save to the smart media card. ...

Yup, done it... also fun using the VX351 and CP 251. What's really fun is to MIDI two Voyagers together :).

Have you tried the trick of turning on Glide, set the amount for a small amount, use low note priority, the as you play hold a key ( say c) then while holding down that key do a quick trill on any key below it, changing the amount will affect how pronounced the effect is.

You may want to check with Moog before changing any springs, it could violate your warranty.

But if you do take it apart :) There are two screws up front, be careful not to move and of the adjustment pots when you take it out, also be careful of the ribbon cable when you put it back in.

1. The thumb detent on both wheels should be larger, i.e. the radius of the detent should be bigger (check out the PB wheel on an Alesis Ion - that's an idea size IMO) For me I like the wheels and think the detent is fine, the wheels on the model D are much narrower : ) but also work fine for me. I ...

I think at this time the spacing is the only thing to affect the L/R output. If you look in the menus you can have the LFO control spacing, or the touch pad....

Output in "stereo", then turn the spacing knob :), you'll notice that one filter is on the "left" the other is on the "right".
