Take a look at the Mackie DFX6, DFX12 CFX12 mixers, all have built in effetcs. If you don't need or want built in effects take a look at the 1202, 1402 VLZ Pro mixers. I've been very plaeased with Mackie In my studio I use the 1604 AVLZ PRO for all of the synths, then use a 1202 VLZ to route all of ...

MC, I was going to say pretty much the same thing :). I've had a MM since 1987, bought it used, it was always a fun synth to play, very warm and full. In the mid to late 90's I had a chance to play a P5 Rev 3.x, while it was nice, I did not like it as much as the MM. Sadly, my MM's need a lot of wor...

Congratulations, you'll really enjoy it :). Midi'd with other synths you can get some great textures, I used to MIDI mine with a DX7 all the time. Right now mine are in need of repair and calibration. One day :). In case you don't know the Plus had real early MIDI, it will only transmit and receive i...

A local tech added a dedicated LFO to my Model D. Has several wave forms and a rate knob. It shares the osc 3 / noise pot, there's a switch to select between noise or the Dedicated LFO. What can be cool is to " mix osc 3 and the dedicated LFO, kind of like what you can do on a Sonic 6 :). One o...

If they are doing it season by season, COOL. I several, if not all, of " The Best of The Muppet Show" DVD's, which has three episodes per disc.

Last I checked Amazon had most of them, I purchased mine from Best Buy.

If I read correctly in his Autobiography ( Pictures of an Exhibitionist) he used a Modular Moog that belonged to the studio they were recording in, his had not been delivered yet. KE was not happy with the solo but Greg Lake and engineer Eddie Offord convinced him it was "the solo". I thin...

MC: Digital are a LOT simpler than writing all those settings down :). I haven't written anything down for the non patch storage synths in years, but I've thought of the digital camera storage way also  . A lot of time on the Voyagers I'll just dial something up play for awhile, then move on w...

You don't have to Save a sound on the Voyager once you find something you like, in fact you can erase all the presets and then forget it's even an option. :). In the old days I used to write some patches down on paper to then get "close" to dialing it back up. Other times, and I still do t...

‘Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas’ ... I don't remember ever seeing that... I'll have to track down a copy, Amazon has it but it's pretty expensive, Do you remember the first Christmas Special with John Denver, around 1979/1980 ? The thing I remember most is Animal singing " Twelve Drummers Dru...
