Re: Has the Voyager no sustain pedal facility?
No, it does not have a sustain pedal. Only latch for triggering notes on and off. A bit annoying really.

Re: The joy of printed manuals and Moog Graphic design
I too appreciate Moog graphic design and they have terrific corporate image. Their manuals, leaflets and brochures all have a nice asthetic. They use black to great effect on their website, sound lab and elsewhere.

Re: Where's my Iridiscent Moog Sticker?
Out of the blue today I received a nice Moog sticker, all the way from North Carolina.
It must have been 3 years ago I registered my first Moog product.
A little late but a nice surprise..
Thank you Moog.

Buy it. Life's too short to worry.
You won't regret it. Hope you make the right decision.

Chris

Your Voyager would go to http://www.sourcedistribution.co.uk/. They do all the MOOG repairs for the UK.

Re: Aftertouch pressure question
I am surprised at how hard I have to press the keys on my new Moog Voyager to activate aftertouch.
Having used many aftertouch keyboards over the years I must say the Voyager is the stiffest I have ever played.

Re: I just have to say...
As a former regretful owner of a DSI Prophet 08, I agree with everything you have said. It's build quality feels cheap for an expensive synth. It has a nasty feel about it. I don't regret selling it, nor miss it's thin sound. Over the 2 years I owned it, the white keys became noticeably discoloured ...

Thanks Amos. Seems to work great, no problems. Always hate updates, it's a sweaty palms moment!

Re: UK based. Warranty question re .Thomann purchase.
Thomann have a dedicated English phoneline and always have been most helpful in this regard. But I'm not sure if your Voyager would need sending back to them for repair. That would be a hassle. Consider buying British , although you get less warranty you are giving money back to the UK economy. Good...

Illuminated blue wheels question?..
I am planning to buy a Voyager Performer Edition soon. A question to those who may know... The pitch mod wheels are no longer illuminated blue on the standard edition but dark grey/ black. However I found one with the illuminated blue wheels selling as new stock. When did Moog stop selling this blue...

Re: What's the story on the EP-3?
I have 4 EP-2's and one of them also doesn't stay in the heel position, it also creeps up about 3/4". I've been meaning to open it up and see if I can get it to sit back down. Anyone else ever try this? Stephen . My Ep2 also suffered from this. I opened it up today to have a look. The spring m...
