Thanks for the answers, it's a pleasure to know about it all.
You'd be amazed how well 2 (functional) ears can hear a mono source…

Re: Signed by Bob Moog - how to know if its genuine?

Yeah I mean why would they bother?

I would think that if one were to forge a signature on the Voyager it would be someone far more desirable???

Re: Moog Amplification.

I don't see why you'd even need a pair of monitors, its not like its a stereo instrument?

Re: Sampling through a Moog

Sure but if all you want is a filter to run stuff through, there are definitely cheaper/smaller options for a standalone filter module.

Re: My desire, the evolution of the Sub Phatty...

How is $1700 "too cheap" for one extra VCO and a slightly larger keyboard? When it says Moog on it. 8) Seriously though the differences in specs between your proposed price point instrument and the Voyager, IMHO would be difficult for a consumer to justify the expense of a Voyager..., thi...

Re: My desire, the evolution of the Sub Phatty...

From a business standpoint, why would Moog make a drastically cheaper Voyager competitor and Little Phatty snuffer, especially at the same time?

Re: Micromoog Cleanup Tips

All finished, passed it off to its new owner (my long term friend/musical partner), he loved it. I got it overall pretty clean, not funky anymore. Restored cosmetically, electronically, and redid the keybed...plays very nice now. Peeled the stupid formica stuff off and gave it a nice milky green pai...

Re: Micromoog Cleanup Tips

Its not so much worn away as it is just kind of dirty, like the rest of the keyboard was before I cleaned it. I was able to make some headway on it though, but still stands out compared to the mod wheel, which I got bright white...

Micromoog Cleanup Tips

In the process of restoring a Micromoog right now, and I don't know about you, but I personally don't like synths that I feel like I have to wash my hands after playing...so this one is getting a detailed job. Obviously of course, its not quite that easy. But standard when I restore a synth. My spec...

i was aware of their existence, it was " a preview of things to come. Talk amongst yourselves." line that i found intriguing. Probably just means that "we will be scanning and posting more random technical documents in the future", which to me is not terribly exciting...

Re: New product to replace LP?

The Sub phatty (with a bigger keyboard) is the unit they should have released in the first place. But regarding a poly, some here are convinced that Moog is not going to make one and have made some compelling arguments, but I'm not convinced. Whatever new product is going to replace the phatty, I s...

Re: FS: Moog Polymoog 203A with Custom Built Road Case and L

I pulled the lid off so one could look at the innards...it does come with the lid. Really not in terrible shape, IMHO, just needs to be cleaned and repaired. Regardless, its got one leg out the door right now...just generated a shipping label for its new owner. Sold within a couple hours of posting.
