Re: Manfred Mann Sounds - but how?

The advantage of using Model D samples controlled by the VL1 would be the potential for a polyphonic miniMoog, I would think, plus the advantage of different sounds, kinda a sampled memory! also I believe I read a Keyboard mag interview with Manfred in the 70's where he said he actually used an EML ...

Re: MiniFooger Delay feedback

Thanks Andy! It's been working great, the adapter is 9V with tip negative. Must not have been pushed all the way in.
I'll keep you posted. Also my Voyager has been fantastic! (you worked on it about a year and a half ago)

MiniFooger Delay feedback

I received my Minifooger Delay about 3 months ago and have been enjoying it greatly! A couple of weeks after I got it, however, the feedback control stopped working. It would delay, but not regenerate. Also the indicator light did not light when the delay was engaged. I was about to request an RMA ...

Re: upgrading Voyager

Sometimes the bargraph on both the Voyager and MIDIOX will complete and the Voyager will tell me transfer was successful, then it will say it failed. Other times the graph stops and it says ROM error, and sometimes the Voyager immediately says System transfer failed while the MIDIOX graph completes ...

Re: upgrading Voyager

upgrading Voyager

I have an older Voyager Performer which still has the 1.0 OS/Boot ver. I've been trying to upgrade with no luck.
I know I need to install the 1.2/1.5 before I can upgrade to more recent versions. I have downloaded both the .SYX and
.MID files plus MIDI-ox. I keep getting a "ROM CHECKSUM ERROR ...

If, however, your presets were all replaced by "9 9 9 9 9 9 9 9 9", you may need to look into having your Voyager serviced by Moog Music. Shouldn't be a big deal, as you're in the US. They're absolutely wonderful about it, too. Truly professional, and a model for any company as far as customer ...
