Mac editor/librarian issues
I just got the mac editor/librarian and I like it a lot. I am finding a lot of issues though.
- I'm getting this message when I try to launch the Mac Moog Voyager editor/libriarian while Digital Performer 4.52 is open. "An exception of class NilObject Exception was not handled. The application must ...

MSB vs LSB - please explain
What is the deal with this "feature"?
Every single control on the voyager sends 2 CC numbers. It was mentioned in another thread and I'm at a total loss as to why it works this way. When I record the mod wheel moving I get mod data AND CC 33. If I record the filter cutoff, I get CC 19 AND CC 51 ...

If you tried to record a filter sweep using the cutoff knob for example, you'll see #19, and 51 in the event list. This should be addressed in an OS update. Never paid attention to this cause so far I just record continuous data using knobs. Real bummer for now if you're using the touch surface. We ...

mac editor quits on launch
I'm getting this message when I try to launch the Mac Moog Voyager editor/libriarian. while Digital Performer 4.52 is open.
An exception of class NilObject Exception was not handled. The application must shut down.
Very cool program BTW. A little buggy but that's to be expected for a 1.0 release ...

Touch Surface MIDI won't play back
I've been trying to get the midi messages generated by the touch surface to play back. I'm using DP 4.52.
I've set up a patch so that the TS destinations for X, Y and A to CC 31, 30, and 29. When I record and use the TS, I get the messages recorded to the midi track just fine but when I play back ...

mod wheel sending odd continuos controller
I am seeing someting wierd while recording MIDI from the voyager to Digital Performer 4.52.
When I use the mod wheel DP records the note, modulation controler and CC 33.
This is very odd to me. I can't figure out why that CC is being sent out or how it's assigned to the mod wheel.
How can I ...

Yeah, you are right. I have some of those books and they are helpful. I have a good grasp of subtractive synthesys but I'm specifically talking about learning *this* instument. There are all kinds of subtle and not so subtle things about the voyager and I'm interested in seeing how others do what ...

Actually I think the a lib/editor is a great idea because it makes it easier to backup/restore and to be able to easily build up libraries.
But the real reason I want it is so I can "see" what a patch looks like. I'm still learning this insturment and it would be really instructional for me to be ...
