Yes, that's one way to do it. Never really liked Live as a production tool. I use Logic and ProTools.

I route my Prophet-600 thru the Voyager and control it with MIDI. That way the Voyager is kind of polyphonic. Mixing other sound sources with the Voyager oscillators may also lead to new and fresh sounds.
