Re: Minimoog Model D [Mod Src Input] and external mod contro

So I did work out that my issue and wanted to share with others how the [MOD SRC] input functions in practice. This does get me into the possibility of being able to control the modulation effects externally. Although this is not the same as controlling the mod wheel amount (to get control of the bl...

Minimoog Model D [Mod Src Input] and external mod control

Just received a beautiful Re-issue Minimoog Model D and had a question about the intended use for the the [Mod Src Input] jack and how one might go about controlling modulation externally. On the re-issue there are 4 total modulation mix inputs, and you can blend between 2 of the rocker-switch group...

Re: Voyager panel backlight always a little bit on

So talking with tech support about this they say some slight bleed through in low light conditions is normal. I still feel my backlight is on more than off at the lowest "off" settings, which is a bit disappointing. However they said if it gets worse to let them know. However I did get the...

Re: Voyager panel backlight always a little bit on

Thanks for the feedback and it's good to know I'm not the only one to experience this issue. I have contacted moog about the issue and will let you know how it goes.

Voyager panel backlight always a little bit on

I was letting my voyager select warm up today, came back to it, and then noticed that the backlight was on just a little bit. I assumed I'd just forgot to turn the light dimmer down all the way, however the dimmer was turned all the way down and the backlight is still very dimly lit now. The dimmer ...

Re: Voyager Midi timing feels a little out compared to LP2

I have no problems at all with MIDI timing with my voyager running OS v3.5 through my MPC2000XL. The timing is tight and I'm even playing my voyager with local off, going out through MIDI to the MPC and back out to the voyager via MIDI in and there is no noticeable delay to me. Worth mentioning is t...

Re: Any Final Select Series lurkers?

Just arrived today. Here is my Voyager in Mahogany, Lunar. Apparently number 24 of 24. I also found some signatures hiding behind the back panel. Lunar backlight on (looks light blue in person, the pitch and mod wheels are much more white). http://i.imgur.com/r4DV1.jpg Flash on so you can see the wo...

Re: Any Final Select Series lurkers?

Well after another delay due to storms on the east coast making it impossible to ship, the ever elusive voyager is set to arrive tomorrow (1/8). Here's crossing my fingers that it will arrive in pristine condition. It's great to see some success stories rolling in. I hope to add another one for you ...

Re: Any Final Select Series lurkers?

Last update I got from sweeter was that they were expecting a shipment from Moog on the 12/20 for my order. I have emailed them for an update since it is the 27th now and have still heard nothing. I'll keep you guys posted on their response. EDIT: Your order is still in tact. I checked the ETA again...

Re: Any Final Select Series lurkers?

Receiving a defective unit after waiting for a good quarter of the year is my worst fear. At this point I've lowered my expectations and just hope for something to arrive before the end of the year. I do find myself concerned about the possibility that the quality control could be declining due to t...

Re: Any Final Select Series lurkers?

Thanks for the warm welcome stiiiiiiive. Update: Quick update for all the lurkers here. I just got a call from my sweetwater sales engineer today that the ETA they were given by Moog for my order is Dec 20th. I ordered on Oct 9. So looks to be about about a 10 week or longer turnaround time for sele...
